The Insignia Steam Deck Vault hard case is a great case overall and a good way to store and transport the system. It has a hard plastic shell on the outside and a spacious micro fiber cloth interior with space to store cables and accessories. That is what I like most about this case compared to the one I got with my steam deck. The size. I am able to fit the system in with the Insignia Silicone Bumper Case on it with no problems. The original case wouldn’t even close completely with it on. So this is a big plus. It has a nicely lined shield for the screen to go over and add additional protection. A zipper lined interior section for cables and small accessories. When my deck is resting in this I think it is comfortable :) The only negatives is that the outside material is hard but could be of a higher quality. The black sheen is pretty cool though. Also it would be nice if there was an additional small cloth piece inside to aid in getting the system out like the original one. Overall though for the price( I was able to get both the hard and silicone cases on a good sale as well!) it is definitely worth it and comes highly recommended!

Really great case, have been using it for about 5 days and really like it. This case does everything I wanted. Fits all my accessories, protects the screen and more protection overall. I now feel comfortable throwing this in my bookbag along with other stufff. It is bulkier than the orginal. Only personal con is that I have trouble getting the console out cause of my fat fingers. Other than that its perfect for me. Can't go wrong picking this one over others. Especially at 25 bucks, I am happy with my purchase.

a little loose for the ROG Ally, but it's pretty nice. My only note is that I am a little paranoid - the Ally's charging brick is thicker and so I will have to fenagle to make sure does not sit on the screen, joysticks or buttons.

Perfect fit for my Steamdeck !! A semi hard case The charger fits under and a flap to protect the screen. Top zipper pouch can hold cables and a usb hub. Soft plush insides and a handle. Good quality product. Well designed.

this case has form fitting bottom plus a screen flap for added protection. i am able to store a few more accessories in the top portion zippered section. this case is bulkier than the ROG Ally case, but i don't have any worries the ROG Ally console will be damaged in transit.

Was worried that it wouldn’t fit my playstation portal until i looked up the side by side for the devices online and saw that the size was nearly identical. I went ahead and bought it and i am very pleased with the turn out. The screen cover is a bit bigger given where the analog sticks are placed but not really noticeable.

Slight upgrade from original steam deck case. it provides better storage space for wires, battery pack, charger etc. but gets a tad awkward because items in the net in the upper portion conflict with the joysticks when closing the case if you're not careful. Cheap plastic feel to the outside, but gets the job done as I'm confident it's protecting the tech! Handle feels nice to carry.

I’m using this case for the ROG Ally and highly recommend it. There is room on both sides of the Ally, however after strapping it down, it doesn’t seem to be an issue. I flew cross country with it and it protected the device perfectly. The case offers great protection - I’m primarily using it within in laptop backpack because I don’t want the Ally to be in there without protection. It probably takes up half of the backpack. It’s a big case (maybe twice as big as my Switch one), but the Ally is big so it was to be expected. I recommend the case and the protection it gives.

I was surprised how big this case was. It fit my Rog Ally, the charging cord, and stand. It has a hard shell for that peace of mind protection a must buy for the price.

This Insignia case is great for traveling with the Steam Deck, it's a decent bit bigger than the oem case which allows for more room to bring additional items or the charger without worrying about it falling out. The case is also great if you use a grip case on your Steam Deck as it easily fits the Deck with a little room to spare. This case is also very sturdy, I feel a lot more comfortable throwing my Steam Deck in my bag with case.

I wasnt expecting much from this considering it was only 10 dollars at the time but this case is a lot more compact than the original steam deck case, it gives you more room for your steam deck along with room for you to put accesories (wires, chargers, earphones) making it the best way to travel with your steam deck.

pretty solid and well built... does not feel cheap at all. I bought it for the ROG Ally and it fits great and is secure. Sturdy screen protector in it too.. ideal for storage and travel. I bought it on sale for $11 which is a great deal compared to a lot of the others out which are more than $15-20. Well worth it.

Since it is a hard case, it’s fit the prerequisite of what I needed for my device: I wanted something that wouldn’t press on my joysticks upon closing even with a case and thumbgrips applied and this did the job even with my extra thumgrips, wires, usb, dongles, and stickie grips in the zip compartment inside of the closing lid. It zips closed and doesn’t lock but since I got this mainly for storage and not for travel I am satisfied. It has a velvet like texture on the inside that covers my screen and Velcro that keeps it place should I decide to take the unit outside of the house and everything inside and out are wipeable, but the inside is a bit of a lint/dust magnet.

Brought this case for my rog ally and it’s great. The ally fits really well despite the case being originally design for the steam deck. It’s also a zipper case in the inside to store stuff, I put the charger and and external ssd enclosure (the slim kind) and it fits perfect without hitting the screen.

Made for Steam Deck but works for ROG Ally as well fits and doesn't move when closed even though it is loose on the sides and protects it very well highly recommend it.

You get what you pay for. It has space for your charger and dock, but the outer shell feels cheap when you compare it to the included steam case. For the price its a good value if you are traveling and want to bring your dock, small cables as well

I bought this even though I already had a case that came with my Steam Deck. I actually like this one better as it is definitely more sturdy. Fits the Steam Deck perfectly

The case works really well I personally use it for the rog ally, unlike most cases, this one has a pocket for you to store your chargers, headphones etc,keeps it well protected without being very bulky

Great heavy duty case. Fits the deck well, has a screen cover that protects it fairly well from whatever accesories or charger fits in the internal overhead zipper compartment. While not being as nice as the default case from Valve, it does have more space for your charger and whatever micro SD cards you may have.
