Its not the best case, being that it's made for a steam deck of course. It definitely fits and was a great traveling case. It made me feel very professional because it looks very similar to a briefcase. Very hard and sturdy exterior. Definitely feels like it will protect what's inside. I can't speak for a steam deck but my Ally X didn't really feel like it had much protection from the inside. I feel like I have to be very careful when carrying it because too much bouncing around might hurt what's inside.

Keep your deck protected

Has more protection as compared to the included carrying case that it comes with and also has a zipper slot for accessories or a charger. Much more thick than the normal case but makes it much more easy to just chuck in a backpack or suitcase and not worry about. Has dedicated protection for the screen to prevent scratching as a nice little bonus.

I have a protective case with a screen cover on it which all fits nicely inside this carrying case! I recommend this case to all Steam Deck users.

Fits the Playstation Portal

I also own a steam deck & this is a nice case for that also, but I have been having trouble finding one for my Playstation Portal. It's the perfect fit. No sliding of any kind & the outer shell is perfect. Would definitely recommend this 100%

Works for ASUS rog ally

I was looking for a case for the ASUS rog ally. There is some spare wiggle room, but over all its great. There's just enough room to slip the Logitech pop mouse beside the console and lay a Logitech MX keyboard on top and still zip the case. I like the hard shell because it feels like my rig will be safer than in the ASUS sleeve that's offered for nearly twice the price.

There's also a storage space inside which is useful, now I can pack my charger and other small acessories for my device.
