Who knew I'd need one? Yes, I'm old school and have a VCR. This was very helpful to help it run smoothly.

It does a good job without having to take the VCR apart and clean the heads, etc. manually. Obviously, you should take the VCR apart and do a thorough cleaning periodically.

It is priced very good and does a great job and does not make a mess..

I pulled out my old VCR that I hadn't used in several years. It was extremely dusty and it needed to be cleaned out before I could even play a VHS tape. It worked just like intended and cleaned out my VCR's internal system, and the VHS tapes played perfectly.

I have some older (of course) tapes that I rely on for at-home workouts...like spin and yoga...and when the VCR essentially stopped working, I thought I should give the Head Cleaner a try. Happy I did and the VCR has been working perfectly ever since.

The video head cleaner is indispensable for anyone that still has the need to use their VCR. The heads must be clean in order to get good quality output. This is especially important if you are viewing or transferring older content where quality and clarity may have faded over time.

I haven't used it yet and I had one before they do a great job cleaning the VCR head I would recommend if you have a VCR/DVD player pick this up especially if you have VCR tapes you want to record to DVD. it's a good investment and the price is cheep.

Very easy to use. I used my old VHS to transfer home movies to DVD and then to digital on my computer. Needed to clean the VHS machine first.

Needed my VCR heads cleaned and was surprised when I walked into my Best Buy and saw 2 of these on the shelf considering today how obsolete VHS is compared to 20 years ago. Worked perfectly and would recommend.

Wanted to copy old VHS for a friend on my Magnavox VHS DVD dubbing machine but the tape would not play the second pass as being an old tape was beginning to shed. After using this head cleaner worked flawlessly. Searched for head cleaners and could not find anything near this price for a wet system. Highly recommended.

Works well easy to use can’t really mess it up. Needed it to get my vhs working right and it did the trick. Also cheap on deal of the day.

Basic head cleaning tape...comes with a bottle of cleaning fluid (smells like rubbing alcohol, so can probably just be refilled with 90+ plus). 3-4 drops in an access hole, insert and press play. Using this to keep the heads clean on an Alesis ADAT Type II deck...seems to work well.

love it. it works!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! MY old VCR was so coroded for many years and no longer been in use. I found so old VHS and used this Insigna head cleaner and lo & behold it cleaned it up with just one application. A-1 product

VCR definitely needed a cleaning and there aren't many options out there anymore for a VCR head cleaner, so this is basically as good as it gets.

OK I’ll do a lot of transfers and this item is a must to clean those heads it’s work great just plug-and-play no problems I would recommend it to anyone who is transferring or if you’re still using a VCR for any other reason so go ahead and get one

I dug out my old VCR to start digitizing some of my VCR tapes. The heads on the VCR were dirty and I was not getting a good picture. After using this head cleaner the picture was great.

Wow! What a difference this little device has made. VHS tape’s are old and grainy. Cleaning up the player has improve the quality of these old tapes. I highly recommend spending the $10 for the simple device. That’s a lot cheaper than converting your tapes to DVDs

Cleaning the VCR is easy and effective with this cleaning kit. Put the bottle tip into the hole, squeeze 3 drops, play the tape for 20 seconds, rewind, eject and your done. It keeps my dads movie watching enjoyable.
