In the process of digitizing my old VHS tapes filled with home movies. The VCR hadn’t been fired up in awhile so it definitely needed cleaning. Worked like a charm. Happy with the purchase.

This video head cleaner works just as well as items like it worked back in the eighties and nineties. Great product, especially if you are in the process of digitizing old video tapes (as I am).

I always found it hard to see the value of a vcr cleaner. I think it can get into areas that I cannot. Rarely have I seen an instance where the tape picked up visible dirt. I have seen where it improved the video reception. In this particular case this cleaner was purchased to solve a problem that I now believe is a worn out video head.

I bought this thinking my VCR was toast that it wouldn't work, but I was surprised. It brought my SONY VCR back to life and made it run the movies so clear and even better than the day it was bought. I have to say BESTBUY I'm in love with this one.

This product is excellent for helping me keep my old technology current and clean I use this when I want to watch older VHS content on my 3-D TV which surprisingly enough connects.

I was surprised that they had these cleaners still available, i wanted to transfer my old home vcr tapes to dvd and wanted to make sure my vcr heads were cleaned so it won't get eaten up in my vcr. had no problems, was like going back in time cleaning and using my vcr!

Works decent had to run it twice and only keeps it clean for a week or so then i have to reclean it.

Worked extremely well. Happy to be able to find and use to keep these old players working for multiple generations.

Did just what I needed it to do on an older technology I still have in my possession, a VCR, and will keep it until the wheels fall off causing it to break.

Worked very well, just add a drop out two of the cleaning fluid provided and run the tape threw

We have a Video/CD player in our home and the VCR stopped working. Once I used this...it was working quite well and I've been able to play several cassettes without issue.

I converted many video cassettes to digital, and I used this cleaner on my VCR. It worked as described.

After fixing up a VCR I bought second hand I needed to clean its heads to get the video to read on the tape. This fixed it up in a matter of seconds, and was like brand new!

Have VCR/DVD combo unit because I have at least 60 to 70 tapes VHS movies. So I need this video head tape cleaner. Glad I found it @ Beat Buy

I know this is old tech for most of you but transferring old videos to digital takes an older player and patience. It also requires cleaning old heads in a deck. This product works great!

Digitizing old VCR tapes on an old VCR. Prior to cleaning the VCR, could not read the tapes at all. Now we can run the tapes and digitize them. The right product for the right price.
