After seeing many higher dollar options on the shelves for a car charger, I finally found this - the cheapest in store option. It works. It can be tough to jam into the outlet, and I feel like I might break it taking it out again, but it works.

Charger works great, strong quick charge, small and portable. Perfect travel size. Can plus your own usb into the port. I use it for a Galaxy S5.

I purchased two Insignia vehicle chargers, one for the wife and myself. The charger (Model: NS-MDC7U) has a single USB port and plugs into the cigarette lighter socket. It provides around 12 watts (5V @ 2.4amps) of power for charging an iPhone or iPad. It takes about 2 hours to charge a depleted iPhone 6. It is relatively small and does not take up much space and stores easily in the car console or glove box. It seems to be a durable item that is easy to use and measures 2-3/8 inches X 3/4 inches. It grips well with two dimples on both flat sides so that it inserts well into the cigarette lighter socket without requiring excess force. It comes in various colors to suit individual tastes. A charging kit containing this vehicle charger and Insignia 12 watt wall charger (Model: NS-MAC2U) and suitable cables stored in a small camera case can be useful for the organized traveler who must maintain contact with the office or home.

Easy to use, on the go and quick charging for anything with a USB cable. Can't beat the price either for quality.

Other travel charges are expensive and bulky but this charger is inexpensive and small enough to fit in my pocket

For the price this is a relatively decent charger. I wish that I had read closely enough to realize that this was not one of the rapid chargers, but c'est la vie, as they say. The price really can't be beat so I would recommend this to anyone looking for value and quality.

Easily packable due to its low profile; however, this lower profile can play havoc with lighter sockets which expect full contact. You may have to plug it in a few times until it functions properly.

Affordable and small adapter for your car. Charges fast and has a nice little light for finding the port at night.

Item works as advertised! I guess the sale price is for the shape, to me, because it is a little struggle to put in and get out, but the quick charge u get while on commute is worth it. Hope it holds up for a good year at least.

Get one for my daughter so she can have the google map navigation on all the time while she drive to some new locaition. 2.4w power enough to charge big cell battery one star less because have to be insert in a position to get it work

This car charger is great! It works well charging any USB device and it doesn't get hot like other chargers. My only issue is the square shape. It fits nicely in my husband's car outlet but it did not work in mine. Otherwise, great product.

This is a very interesting car charger. It comes in a rectangular shape, I was skeptical at first but after about a few weeks of use I have found it to be very great when it comes to charging my Iphone 7plus! I would recommend this to anyone.

Works well but has an awkward fit in the circular 12V adapter. Not ideal if you are going to insert and remove it frequently, versus leaving it installed and just plugging/unplugging the USB cable.
