Works as expected to charge a dead phone battery as you drive.

This adapter for the outlet in my car worked alright. My outlet is at a bit of an angle, so the size of this adapter made it a bit more difficult to put it in the outlet. The design could be a little better if it was angled like other adapters I've had, but for the price it does the job.

Normally do not buy Insignia but this was a good purchase

I bought this USB charger to charge my Samsung phone in my car while driving. It works perfectly. You need to have a spare cable since it doesn't come with one.
