    Insignia has done it again, no software downloads needed. Plug and play. I did have to connect the usb in to get the vga work properly. I used this to remedy a bad hdmi output for our security camera. Works great.

    Worked well to connect an older computer to a new monitor with sound. Note these converters only work one way, if you need to get a VGA monitor hooked up to an HDMI port - that is a different device.

    Sometimes the image doesn’t translate correctly to the secondary screen and we have to disconnect and reconnect to correct it. Otherwise works well.
