It definitely works, quality isn’t the best and your display driver has to be constantly updated. I’d recommend if it’s your only option, but try something digital if possible.

Good for video. Did not work for sound.

The USB for the sound works, until shut down of computer. When the USB is plugged in, and you shut down. You get 3 long beeps, 2 short beeps. Which on a HP, is major hardware failure. The computer gives no booting. I un/plugged into 4 different ports. When USB unplugged, will boot, plugged in, no boot. Also, ONLY 15 day returns? I'll think hard about Best Buy purchases in the future.
