    I needed something to set up some servers and since they are run headless the outputs are the simple and cheap vga. this worked for messing around with the bios and setting up an OS install. didnt bother with the audio output no clue how that works.

    Old laptop and new monitors! I didn't think this combination would be so difficult to find a working combination! Finally on my third attempt I found this device and it worked. My previous purchases did not work because I purchased the wrong product. If you have a laptop with vga port out and be monitors this solution will work!
