Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.1) You do NOT have to connect the USB for the monitor display to function. 2) The adapter isn’t great, considering it loosens and impacts the display quality (causes the screen to shake or jitter). 3) It’s a clonky cable, so it gets in the way of nearby cables. It does what it’s intended to do, but the reality is that a VGA is analog, so using an adapter for it decreases the quality and increases the risk of the connection working imperfectly.
