It does it well, at full 1920 x 1200 resolution. The sound works and is clear. It does need to be set up, so if you're looking for a total plug and play with no tweaking of the computer settings, look elsewhere. Have had no trouble with it at all.

It’s hard to remember life before this adapter

I can’t fathom what my life would be like if I couldn’t project PowerPoints. My group communication skills would suffer immensely without ability to adapt HDMI to USB and VGA. Seriously, you got no idea.

It's not too large in size, and it's a great cheap option that "just works."

My mom is using it only for scrabble or hoyle card games so we keep replacing things. The adapter to HDMI got broken when the computer tipped over during a move. This adapter was perfect and is long enough to hang and not be so tight with he computer. Excellent buy.
