Wish I could buy more for other rooms but wife is yelling at me for having 2 now...this one is much bigger than desktop version and has much deeper sound. Need support pushed to these devices-big con but overall getting a clock and Google home in one is awesome with these devices

This is a good speaker with Bluetooth and google voice built in. The sound is good and loud. Although I miss the ability to call from it. Even google home mini has that feature.

This sounds much better than I thought it would. I got the larger because it has battery life without being plugged in but I think the smaller one's sound is slightly better. Love the google home voice control, works quick and great

I keep this beside my bed, I can just ask Google the time, set an alarm, play a song or songs, or ocean or rain, ask the weather, etc, connect via Bluetooth when needed and control my smart bulbs, outlets and cams.

Actually this is quite funny. It works exactly the same as a normal google home, but with a clock it doubles as more of an item that sits in my room looking like an alarm clock than an assistant. which is useful for me because of the fact that its black instead of white, also fitting in with the furniture. Either way, its usability is pretty much the same if not better than the normal google home. Its also significantly more responsive than your google apps you'd use which makes the experience far greater too. You just need to set it up once, and your good to go. You can even whisper to it so long as the room is quiet. Seems to just work. I suppose the only complaint i have is the fact you can't bluetooth pair to it, or if you can, i haven't figured that out yet. The only reason why i consider that a complaint is because it would be nice to pair it to my TV as it basically sounds like a soundbar all on its own.

the speaker sounds great for the small size, and really enjoy not having to search google for things, can just say hey google and she answers all my questions. waiting for it to learn a little more information. overall satisfied

I purchased this item for $69.99 on sale. It then went on sale for $49.99, which they told me could not be price matched because of Black Friday. It then went on sale for $59.99 which was price matched. It then went on a one day sale for $39.99. I was informed that it was already price matched and could not be matched again. This was all in the space of less than 2 weeks!! Customer service was not very helpful. I returned the product and two other items because I felt that I was treated unfairly. The speaker worked well and I liked the Google Assistant. I used it as an alarm clock and it was handy listening to music with a sleep timer.

I use this as my go-to when I need to charge my phone via USB port in the back and ask google questions like the weather and news before I start my day. The speaker is great as well pairing it up with my Spotify.

I really bought this because my alarm clock broke and this was a deal of the day. I really haven't used it for that purpose though as I tend to just use my phone now for the alarm. It took a bit to get it connected to my WIFI and linked to my Google account - but it seems to be working flawlessly since connecting. I never really thought asking Google or Alexa or Siri would be that useful. But its kind of nice to just tell this unit (Google) to play music and it just does it. And you can have it play for only a specific time period. Also, since it's linked to Google it knows how to play my Pandora and Spotify - which is also really great. I think I got more than what I paid for in this case.... and as you can tell, I am a first-time user of this type of device.

Got this for $25 when it was on sale. Unlike the Google Mini, this features a traditional alarm clock which is useful. Google Assistant has worked really well and this sounds a bit better than the Google Mini.

The speaker sounds quite decent, and Google assist works fine, sometime a little bit slow, it drags on. It took me a while to set it up, it is not so straight forward. But the price on thanksgiving was worth it.

This sounds much better than I thought it would. I got the larger and smaller one. I got larger because it has battery life without being plugged in but I think the smaller one's sound is slightly better. Love the google home voice control, works quick and great. So easy to set up

Purchased this to replace my alarm clock that died. I already have google home minis but was interested that this also has Google Assistant functionality. This device doesn't disappoint! The speaker sounds great and it does everything as advertised! Would recommend!!

Set up was fast and easy, connected to all of my devices with no hassle! Perfect for a nightstand with the built in clock and of course using google for setting alarms. Sound quality is surprisingly good for a smaller speaker, and the volume does get pretty loud.

Its a very nice looking speaker and seems to be a quality built insignia product. I like the carry handle too. I am sure another company can put out a more powerful product like this, but I am betting it will cost 2x this product. I think its a good value.

First off, I purchased this for $25 as the “deal of the day”. This puppy is a no brainer for under $60 and a steal at the $25 range. Audio quality is as expected for a speaker of this size in the $ Range I stated above. Better than the the Amazon Echo Dot, and the Google Home mini, and gets louder (though I don’t recommend volume levels past 85%). Although subjective, I personally enjoy how it balances the sound and clarity, and definitely disagree with some other reviews describing a lack in BASE. It doesn’t thump, but what do you expect from a Tumbler mug sized device?? Overall, has a good balanced base, good clear highs and mids. If you want thumpy base than go ahead and spend $150. Also has full Google Home integration as far as I can tell, and just as capable as the Google Home devices. Considering I bought this as an “affordable” alarm clock I am blown away by the performance. Great purchase!

I purchased this speaker for my college son as a Christmas gift, and I loved it so much that I had and get another one for myself. It has great and clear volume, understands everything we asking and demanding, very fun to talk to, good looking. So far so good. Highly recommend.

I have a Google Home, Mini and several Home Audio pucks scattered around the place and they work well together as well as separately. I was looking for a Mini to put in the bathroom so I could get news and information in the morning while I was getting ready for work. I saw this unit and it also had a digital time display which was also a great plus for keeping track of the time. I brought it home and seamlessly added it to my Google Home group. How I can get news in the morning while my partner is still sleeping as well as control lights in the house and it is also part of a home "group" so I can stream music to it while I am streaming to other units in the house. I won't say the sound quality is quite as good as the Google Home, but for use in a bathroom, it is fine. The sound quality is on par with the Google Mini and since I got it on sale the cost was even less than the Mini. Overall a good value.

For the price, it is hard to justify the extra cost of an authentic Google Home device. The sound quality of this Insignia device is pretty on-par with the Google device and has the added benefit of the clock display. I use mine as an alarm clock in my bedroom.

If you want google assist with a visual clock integrated, this will work for you. This speaker serves as both a smart home google assist box as well as clock and speaker. I would highly recommend it.
