I purchased the Insignia water filter for our G E Profile refrigerator. I bought at Best Buy because of convenience, price, and immediate availability. It meets the G E specifications for replacement filters. The filtered water from our fridge is of good taste quality. This is a good product.

I've been using GE filters and they are terrific, but when I found Insignia made the same filters at a much lower cost I decided to try one. Am I glad I did. The same terrific performance at a much lower cost. Now I don't have to delay changing the filter trying to save money, I can keep our water fresh!

I was skeptical at first about buying a third-party filter. Since my Best Buy reward program was not offering the discount on water filters anymore I decided to take the chance and buy this insignia. This water filter works flawlessly and it is perfect. Highly recommend.

This is the second Insignia replacement water filter I have ordered. I cannot tell the difference between this filter and the more expensive GE filter. I will continue to purchase this less expensive option.

Works great. Water tastes great and I’ve already re-purchased a few times since my first purchase of this item. A great savings for an equivalent product. I do wish maybe even better filtration was possible- such as of pharmaceuticals. But the premium price the brand name wants for that filtration is crazy.

Good product, works perfectly. Fits just as well as the name brand and seems to last just as long as one, too! Glad to have found it, to be honest I wish that I had found out about it when I first bought the fridge.

This was the first time we have needed a filter for our GE fridge so we trialed the insignia brand over the GE brand. I am high satisfied; Install was smooth and water tastes just as great for a cheaper price.

The filter works very well as a substitute for the GE water filter but I'm not sure why you have to submerge it in water for 15 minutes before use. The GE filter does not call for this same submersion.

This filter is a great replacement for the GE branded filter and it costs a lot less. My local Best Buy keeps these in stock so they're easy and affordable to replace every six months.

I’ve been using these filters in place of original GE filters for about 3 years and notice no difference other than the cheaper price. I’ll most likely never buy the GE filters again.

This is the 2nd one I've purchased for my GE fridge. Both have worked very well, with no problems with clogging, particles, or odd taste. Water tastes great, and it's much cheaper than OEM GE filters.

I had no issues replacing my old refrigerator water filter with this one and it works perfectly. It’s a bit cheaper with a Best Buy auto-replenish subscription.
