Purchased these to replace the factory filter. They work well, water took about two gallons to clear up, per directions. Filter fits snugly, although alignment arrows were slightly off

Bought these before and they worked ok. Then I bought some replacements and wouldn’t screw on the filter base. After trying numerous times looked on YouTube and found out they added an extra notch on the filter. Found out you have to remove the notch. So you have to cut it off the smallest of the three notches. Leaving a _______U shape with the line under it. Remember to cut both notches front and rear. Then it will fit like it’s supposed to. I usually purchase the manufacturer's specified product, but it's so expensive. The Insignia product fit great (no leaks) and the filtered water tastes the same for half the price.

These are substitutes for the much more expensive Samsung filters. They work just fine, no problems, no leaks. Seemed easier to install that I remember the originals were.

It fits, easy to install, can't beat the price. No way of knowing if it's actually filtering same as branded version, water tastes fine but can't always taste an impurity.

I got these to replace my OEM Samsung water filter in my fridge and these fit perfect. The bottom of these filters are a bit more square shape than the original filter but fit perfect. My fridge is a bottom french door fridge. I purchased these as a daily deal and got a great price compared to the crazy price of a single OEM filter. Highly recommend these filters.

I'm skeptical of generic filters and chose this one because it is carried by Best Buy and presumably meets some type of quality standard that I hope this store holds. The filter claims to remove the typical poisons (lead, etc.) but I haven't sent any samples out and have no such intention. It fits my Samsung refrigerator without issue. Best of luck.

Anytime I can get two for the price of one, I am happy. The only thing that would make me happier is three (or more) for the price of one! These filters are made to spec and come in a two-pack for what is the same price as one of the OEM filters. Easy-peasy Mac-n-Cheesy!

I love the ease of installing these water filters in my Samsung fridge. Less expensive than the branded filters too. Samsung filters are very difficult to install. I recommend this brand as a perfect alternative.

For less than half the price of Samsung filters, these insignia filters actually fit my refrigerator better than the new redesigned Samsung filters. They also produce much better tasting water. I like these so much that I signed up for the Best Buy subscription plan.

This generic water filter is just as good as the Samsung recommended filter - at half the price. I have used them for many years now and not found fault with any of them. Very easy to replace but may need a stronger hand to twist it into place to prevent leakage.

We bought these filters as a cheaper alternative to Samsung brand filters for our refrigerator in the basement. They work just as well and are just as easy to use. Highly recommend.

Great filter and the price was too hard to pass up. I got two filters for the normal price of 1 Samsung branded unit. Easy to install unit with an insert and quick trun (although the Samsung has arrows and insert alignement markings making it easier)

Well worth the money especially since you get two of them for the price of one Samsung brand one. Use to get the Home Depot version of these and your lucky if one of the two pack would perform properly. Never have that issue with these.
