I haven't done any scientific testing but the water has good mouth feel after use. If you have the same refrigerator as me and are in need of a filter then I can say get this product for your ice maker and water. Will purchase again if my refrigerator makes it another year.

I have had three different refrigerators and only used the Insignia brand filter. You can usually get two for the same cost or less than what the major brands cost.

Great replacement filter

The filter works great. If you get the box with two filters, it is a great savings. What you pay for two filters at Best Buy is what you would pay for one filter at Sears.

It filters the water in my refrigerator

The drinking water and the water that makes ice cubes. I have tested the water with a gauge and it does read better than the tap water from my faucets.

Insignia brand is better than name brand Samsung

Especially when it comes to the price. I can get two units for the price of one name brand. No brainer.

When I realize it was leaking from the filter area, I bought these and replaced one and the leak was solved! Save hundreds compared to a new appliance
