    Bought this when it was on sale for $49.99. It is simply a WiFi controlled relay. It rests open, and closes when activated. Could be used for any garage door, gate, etc., where your only goal is to momentarily close a circuit. Programming was ridiculously simple and the door status sensor works great. Insignia continues to impress me considering it is the Best Buy house brand.

    This garage door opener works great, and it’s a nice addition to HomeKit! I tried finding a smart garage door opener that would work with my newer Overhead Door garage door, while also working with HomeKit, but wasn’t able to find a solution until this came out. One thing to note, is it won’t even let you begin the device setup without a 2.4 GHz WiFi network.

    Worked great for about 7-8 months and then the motion sensor went out, the unit started to display the being open when it was closed and closed when open. Will return for an exchange
