My other main need was Apple HomeKit integration, which it has and works wonderfully. The installation was simple/straightforward and took maybe 15 minutes.

Only thing is to make sure you attach the sensor on the inside of the garage door to a spot that is close to the opener when the door is opened so that it senses it easily

I’ve re-installed my door sensor and repositioned the transmitter several times hoping that it would operate and stay online reliably. I’ve even exchanged it for another unit. Don’t rely on this as the only way to open your garage door. It’s probably not going to work.

It does need a reliable strong wifi signal to make sure it updates right away when you try to use it but 2/3 bars would be enough for about 90% of the time.

Generally, it works pretty well. Occasionally, it struggles with communication, and I am not yet sure why - possibly network range related.

Owned for 3 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I went into Best Buy and explained everything that I had and everything I wanted and the store attendant handed me this product and informed several times it would work with my new Liftmaster WLED-267 (My-Q) garage door opener. It took me awhile to install this item due to the fact I was fighting to keep my job but list it and I’m unemployed right now. I installed this item and the light would not come in and the garage door would not open or close. I did everything correctly and spent more hours than I care to share to find out this system will not work with my Liftmaster. This all could have been avoided if they told me they didn’t know if this item would work with my current garage door system. All this wasted time, effort and the fact that I’m a silver member and I can’t take it back. This will be the last time I listen to any Best Buy employee as I’m out this money and have a product that doesn’t work. Might have to start doing all my shopping online from other stores and companies. Very-very disappointed with Best Buy.

I'm sorry for this whole situation and thank you for the time you took to write us this review. Currently our Garage Door Opener does not work with most Liftmaster motors.

Since this works with HomeKit, I can check that my garage door is closed, or open it from from anywhere if needed.

I'm pleased to report that it works perfectly, installation details were great, easy and straightforward. Works 100% as expected, highly recommended.

I did need to call customer support to get it hooked up and they were wonderful. I had a Chamberlain my Q and returned it. It would rarely work. This on the other hand has yet to not work.

No other homekit or smart home devices have issues on my network. Gone through removing and adding again a few time. I can press the button and it works on device. No wifi problems in that area either. Will be returning.

Simple install, works great with Home Kit

I used a 6" "extension" cord and mounted the controller on the opener hardware. Home Kit integration has been flawless.

I haven’t had any trouble with it at all. My WiFi signal is good to very good in the garage. Love it!
