Great Homekit Alternative to replacement opener

Even added an Orbi satellite mesh router in the garage. Simply not reliable. HomeKit fails to connect reliably. Not that it never works. Just not consistent. Moving on to another product.

The unit disconnects and there is also delays to open the door when it wants to. Very unreliable, stay away.

I did call Best Buy and the person I talked to could not help me. The software that came with it, is not supported any more ! When I purchase it Best But did not label this as being discontinued or un supported !

I really wanted to like it but it never had a consistent status other than “no response” which was more than 80% of the time and occasionally would say “open” when it was “closed” and vice versa. I bought it for peace of mind when I was away from the house but having no or faulty notifications didn’t give me any peace. Finally gave up on it today after removing it from HomeKit, re-pairing it, seeing it in HomeKit, opening the door once, then seeing “no response” again. It was on the latest firmware.
