It feels like the original and the cord was long enough that I didn't need an extension.

This is an ok controller to add as the second for my NES classic. The color scheme and feel aren’t identical to the one that is included however it is very responsive. The cord length is superior to the included controller and that is why I gave it 4 stars vs 3.

Controller cable has good length. Looks and feels good. When I used it for the first time I noticed it lagged a bit as I pressed the A and B buttons. I would not recommend if you take your games seriously.

Longer cord means more comfortable playing space. Not sure who thought it was a good idea to engineer the controllers included in the NES Classic so short. Most kids (or adults) are not sitting on their floor in front of the tv playing it.

This is a very good controller. Considering the OEM controller has a very short cord, I looked for other options. The feel is nearly identical, the dpad is raised and does feel slightly different, but the 10' cord length still makes this a very good purchase.

Is not as good as the Nintendo brand. It functions nice, but buttons register a delayed response. On the good side, this remote is a great substitution, the length of cord gives you the much needed distance for big tv's and the price is great.

This controller is a great alternative to the no where to be found Nintendo branded NES classic controller. The 10ft cable is an added bonus. The controller feels just like the Nintendo branded controller but the buttons fill a slight bit different.

If you're buying the Nintendo console, save yourself some time and buy 1-2 of these controllers and the extensions in the same purchase. I have had zero problems with this controller. It's responsive and feels nice in the hand. Even though it doesn't have the classic coloring, the functionality makes this a must-have.

I got this controller after waiting months for the Nintendo controller to come back in stock. It hadn't and my boys were getting tired of taking turns with one controller (the short Nintendo one with the extender). This cord is awesome, especially being 10' long! I am thinking about getting a second and doing away with the Nintendo controller.

The extra long cord was awesome since the included controller cord was so short. Found that it isn't super responsive though for quick moves like PAC man. I ended up buying the wireless controllers online and they were much better

I had a hard time finding extra Nintendo branded controllers for the NES Mini. i just so happen to see this in the store, and picked it up. The quality of this controller is on par with the Nintendo branded ones. On top of that, the cable for the Insignia brand is 10ft long, so you will not need to purchase an extra extension cable for it.

We bought a Nintendo classic for our two boys, but they were sold out of the extra controllers. So we ordered the Insignia controller, thinking it was virtually identical. We were pleasantly surprised to find that the cord is extra long! We might buy a second one, it makes the console much more convenient.

Love the longer cable, the original controller that came with the NES Classic Edition only had a 3 foot Cable. Controller works pretty much as expected. I have noticed a slight problem with ducking and sliding on Super Mario 3, but it could just be that the controller needs to be broken in a little more. We're happy with it.
