This has a much longer cord than the original, but the buttons and d-pad are worse. Still ok if you want a longer cord without extensions or can't find an original.

Bought this controller as an extra for Family game play! The controller comes with a long cord which I love so you don't have to sit so close to the TV. Works great and will be getting an additional one to replace the controller the system came with!

While both the NES Classic and Classic Controller are difficult to obtain, the Insignia™ - Wired Controller for NES Classic Edition feels great, and has a much longer, and needed cord.

This controller comes with a longer cord that the one that comes with the system. But sometime it doesn't work, like when I push down, it goes left, and it makes my die in the game!!

It works well. The best part of this is that the cable is long, so you don't need the extension cords if you don't want them. These come with longer cables than the ones that come with the NES classic

Works ok, fairly responsive. Not sure but I feel there's slight lag on occasion. Could be my tv. Anyways, if you were 1 of the 2 people to buy a classic, this is an ok option

One thing I didn't like about the classic was how short the cord was. I mean just because I used to play close up to the screen when I was a kid doesn't mean I want to do that now. This controller, not only works well, but has a longer cord.

The console only comes with one controller, and the cord on this additional controller is much longer. So this is a must-have if one player wants to be able to sit much further from the tv or console, and if you want to play any two player games.

Normally, we stay away from 3rd party accessories as they don't work as well. This one works great. Responsive, cable length is great and works well. Buttons just a touch different than on the classic controller, but that's minor. Great price and great product!

Not the greatest controller, but it works. There is a little lag at times and sometimes there is an issue with responsiveness. Overall it works, but it's not fantastic.

I love the longer cord that comes on this controller. The cord on the original controller was extremely short. I made the new one my main remote. It works fine, and now I can let the NES Classic by the TV instead of having to move the box closer to my seat.

I purchased this to use with the system. I think that the system should come with two controllers. Not just one.

Bought this controller to add to the NES classic system I bought for my son's birthday. Unlike the controller that came with the NES system, this one has a nice long cord, so my son can sit further from the tv. Love it!

I feel the game system should have come with two controllers but it only comes with one so you had to buy this one for two people to play

Takes me back to my early days of gaming. I haven’t had any issues at all. My wife loves PacMan. I do suggest purchasing the controller extension cables and an extra controller. The one that come with it is very short.

Great product for the NES Classic and better than the controller that Nintendo gives you. The cord is longer than the Nintendo cord of 3 feet, 10 feet to be exact. This gives the player more than enough room to place the unit anywhere they would like without having to sit so close to the tv. The only downside is that the end that plugs into the unit has a piece of plastic that will block slot 1 if plugged into slot 2, other than that, it is a great product.

Picked these up for my NES Classic. Buttons stick a bit which is why I knocked a star off. Not a smooth operating as the NES controller.

This is a good option if you can not find the nes classic controller. The cord is nice and long. Which saves from having to buy extensions.

I purchased 2 of these controllers for my new nes classic. They seem to work as well as the one that came with the system but the cord is much longer.

The buttons do not work as well as the NES controllers that came with it. Only got this for the longer cord
