    Nice when it works

    These headphone were nice when they work. Sometimes they didn't turn on even when they were charged overnight. Now I can not pair these headphones with the new phone I got. I tried my wife's phone and can't pair it with that either.

    Multiple Failures

    I originally purchased this product over 1 year ago. After working for a few months, the headphones failed to turn on after being removed from the charger. I replaced the original set with the warranty. The second set recently failed in the exact same manner. I like everything else about the headphones except that they continue to fail. Insignia products are usually quality. I hope this problem will be researched and resolved.

    Mild uncomfortable, lasted for a few months and then died. Nothing in the manual or many websites was helpful. When attempting to charge it is displayed a purple blue light (not red or blue as it used to display...). Now it rests where all this kind of products should, the garbage... Never again.... I have had a couple of wired Sony headphones since before Bluetooth, and I'm now back to them; old but trusty, kinda like myself....

    I saw mixed reviews of good and bad. Unfortunately, I'm one of those "bad" scenarios. They didn't last 1 week! The headphones didn't have a long battery life (like a Bose) so you had to charge them fairly often if you use them more than an hour/day. For whatever reason, they wouldn't charge and had this faint purple color on the headset.

    Definitely Inferior

    Obviously all the positive reviews here never heard the Rocketfish RF-MAB2 predecessor headphones. The sound quality of these come nowhere close to the Rocketfish ones. My advice to the Insignia enginerres is to go back to the Rocketfish plans and redo the sound components to match the Rocketfish RF-MAB2s

    Speakers are good; Mic is marginal; fit is awful

    The fit on these headphones is surprisingly poor. The behind-the-neck strap (salesman told me it went over the head, but it was obvious he was wrong; bought anyway) is painfully stiff and completely non-adjustable. I can't even bend it for comfort, as you would do with the bows on a pair of sunglasses. It probably would fit a small head, perhaps a child, but even then the comfort would be in question. The speakers work well. I made one phone call while in a quiet room, and was told there was a "buzz" to my voice. The button placement is unfortunate -- it is difficult to adjust the position without hitting buttons. What finally cinched it for me is that they cannot initiate a phone call (using Siri or equivalent) by pressing a button on the headset. Instead, you have to pull out your phone and do it there. Inconvenient! I have had some GREAT products from Insignia (esp. my 46" TV), but this one is just an unfortunate mistake and is being returned.

    The buttons starting sticking after two weeks. Sound quality is poor. My 4 year old Motorola is much better.
