I regret not buying a more expensive one. This one is cheap. It works fairly well but I do not expect it to last. There was not much of a selection which created the problem. Best Buy staff are wonderful and very helpful.

Insignia Slim Wireless Mouse I picked this mouse because it’s small, wireless, and will work on any computer. I might add that this mouse is not Bluetooth wireless, it’s Encrypted 2.4 GHz between the mouse and the nano receiver, that is included, which fits into one of your USB-A ports on your computer. So you can use this with computers that do not have Bluetooth. The installation is quick and easy. Pop open the mouse, by separating the top and bottom, remove the USB dongle and insert the battery (which it comes with). plug in the dongle, or USB nano receiver as they call it, into a USB port on your computer, move the switch on the bottom of the mouse to on and it should self-install very quickly. By the way, the rated battery life for the AA is about 3 months. Switching it off with the toggle on the bottom is a good idea when traveling and not using the device to prolong battery life. The mouse is super small and compact yet I find it easy to use. I have fairly large hands, but find the mouse quick and light but not cheap feeling. The small size will be perfect to carry in your pocket or fit in a side pocket of your computer case. It’s responsive and slides easily across your desk. The scroll wheel works very well and it’s easy to move the screen up and down. Pushing the scroll wheel will activate page scrolling (or Auto Scroll) to scroll your page using the mouse direction. The mouse is flat, with a low profile, much like the famous white mice that are used with many Mac devices. Matter of fact this mouse can be used with Mac OS as well as Chrome OS and of course Windows OS. CONCLUSION: I think this is a great compact mouse at a very good price point. It’s perfect for travel with your laptop when you are tired of using your trackpad. With the dongle its easy to setup and to move to another computer if you decide. I would definitely recommend this mouse.

This is a great option for a basic but on-budget wireless mouse. Direct plug the USB-A connector in your laptop, after being sure that the mouse battery is on and you can use it with no additional steps. A few things that are to consider: This is a quite low-profile mouse (quite flat) that allows your hand to be in a more natural position than the bulky old models. Despite the size, the USB connector fits inside the mouse. This keeps the two components together and this helps the potential transitions between laptops. This mouse is not running with Bluetooth technology so if you plan to use it, be sure that you have enough ports. The price is good but is plastic made and the guarantee offered by the manufacturer is the standard one year. This could be an indicator that long life expectancy could not be there. Finally, the reactivity between your hand and the cursor is quite good. Don’t need a lot of space to see the hand movements on your screen and this helps in small office settings. This also applies to the scroll function. A good option to use with a laptop in the move.

There is a lot to like about this mouse. First, the overall size is great. It doesn't "bulge" and has a low profile, so it sits very comfortably in the hand. Very easy to move smoothly. Second, it's a light mouse but weighted very well so it doesn't bounce or move without you moving it. Third, the flywheel is very smooth. I have used mice where the flywheel feels cheap or doesn't respond. This flywheel responds very well and is very enjoyable to use. It's a two-button mouse along with the flywheel, which is probably not good for gaming, but this isn't meant to be a gaming mouse. The setup was very easy. If you have set up a Bluetooth mouse in the past, this one will be very similar. Just plug the usb stub into your desktop/laptop, make sure the included battery is installed, press the pairing button on the bottom of the mouse and Windows 11 should do the rest. It does have an on/off switch to allow you to control battery life. This is a quality mouse and I would highly recommend it for daily use.

Can’t get it too connected too my computer. !! It was a cheap option

I don't like the fit of it, and it's loud clicking just made me go back to the old one. I'm not good with the track pad, so I'm always looking for a good mouse. This isn't it.
