This is the generic Best Buy brand remote for specific DSLR Cannon camera's.We purchased this item for mostly taking self portraits,and it works great! Cannon sells one almost exactly the same,this one works just as well and much better price!

This remote was super easy to set up with my Canon Rebel t5i, it work at close up/sorta far distance, it's small and decret so you can take pics without it being seen. The price was a little high compared to the prices I saw on Internet, but I love it

The remote was easier to program than I thought. I did have to look it up online. The directions weren't great. The only negative is it has to have a line of view to the camera so if you're in the photo so it the remote.

I'm still working out the kinks on how exactly this links to my camera, but I managed to get it working once and I loved it. Now if only I can keep it from disconnecting that would be great. Not talking bad about the product, but on my inability to figure it out.

This came in very handy for a party I hosted with a photo booth. Made it very simple for my guests to use and provided me with high quality photos from my DSLR. Great buy and would recommend!

I purchased this wireless remote to take long exposure shots, because there is a project that I want to do that takes place in the night. When I checked the list of cameras from Canon that said this functioned with, it included my T6. However in my attempts to longer exposures shots, I discovered this remote connects to the IR Mode in cameras. My T6 does not have an IR Mode. Which I learned is the reason why my camera is lighter and lower in price because Canon just removed it for beginner Photographers. I am still going to keep it and wait until I have a full frame camera to use this wireless remote that also has IR mode, but really I'm just leaving my review so that I get my 25 Best Buy points. This wireless remote was easy to set up and worked great with the canon camera. Great for taking pictures where you don't want to cause camera shake.

This remote works as expected. I have used it frequently for long exposure shots as well as portraits and never had an issue. It is less expensive than other models and works just as well.

this is a good remote when taking basic shoots and group photos easy to hide, don't have to be at the mercy of the camera timer and guess when it will snap the picture. I am satisfied thus far.

This remote for the camera works very well, the only down fall is that you have to point it directly at the camera. You can see it in pictures that you have the remote pointed at the camera.

I love how much easier it makes taking lots of photos like when you want to be included in the picture but don't want to have to mess with setting the timer. Also for taking pics of wildlife you can set the camera up on a tripod or other stand or place it in a location where it will not interfere with the animals and using the manual focus option just wait until they're in the area selected and shoot the picture without disturbing the animals. I'm really looking forward to using it through the holidays.

This is a great tool to use if you'd like to study the art of self portraiture. The only con I found was the fact that you don't have time inbetween shots to hide the clicker unless you used the 10 sec timer/remote function.

I can take my pictures like the Pro I am. No more asking for help to capture this fabulous piece of art that is My Body-Head 2 Toe...No more help needed, it does the job!!! Yes would buy again.

I love this product. Great for lazy photographs who need to take photos but don't want to use the self timer. It is also a very inexpensive item. Works great!!

The remote works good besides it stopped right when we had the entire family lined up. Oddly it worked okay before and since so maybe it was user error

Great for selfie shot although I don't like the fact that it only works when in front of the camera. It would be perfect if it could work anywhere around the area

This remote was purchased for a Cannon EOS Rebel T3i. I had read some reviews which indicated this remote did not work for this camera, but I took a chance anyway, and I haven't had an issue with compatibility. Like other reviews though, it is true you must point the remote at the sensor for it to respond, which is in front of the camera. This remote will be great for self portraits etc., but I will also be looking for a wired system so photos can be taken from the side or behind the camera for scenic shots from a tri-pod etc..

Great remote, easy to use. It is very easy to setup, the instructions are also easy to read and follow. I would recommend this to anyone.

This Remote is great for the price hands down! its as simple as taking it out of the box switching your settings on your DSLR and the remote works right away, you don't have to set anything up.

The remote has some trouble staying connected to the camera and is not very responsive. It still functions pretty good and cost less the $20.00. Good value for the money.
