    We had a 1/2 horse unit. It quit working and we looked at several. This one was a bit more but it has Stainless Steel inner workings. NO rust. Worth the money for us and I research EVERYTHING! The noise of this 1 HP unit is less than my old 1/2 horse unit.

    Can't go wrong with InSinkerator. This is probably my fifth garbage disposal by this company. They work well and aren't loud. I eat a LOT of veggies and that makes for a LOT of shavings and peels, etc. and this tackles them all.

    Went to more horsepower, nice and quiet, and easy to install, decided to keep existing trim ring as it matched the sink better...

    This is the most powerful garbage disposal. This is replacement to my other Badger. It was here when I bought my house. So I had a good 3 1/2 years of the old one. So I wanted the same brand, it turns out the old did have the power like my new Badger. My plumber said this was enough power.

    Find it cheap, I dare you. Best one on the market. Cable can be bought easily. Bought two to send to our home being built out of the country.

    Very happy with the new disposal. Powerful 1HP, yet not terribly loud. I try not to put much food into it but when needed it functions very efficiently.
