I absolutely love this camera. Ive gotten hours of use out of it with 99% of that being outdoors. The quality is super nice for being a 3x. The app is super easy to use and learn. This is by far one of the best cameras i have ever owned. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone

I am completely new to the videography world and have no experience with action cameras yet not one time did I have a hiccup using the X3. I initially looked into the camera because I wanted a hands-free solution when traveling to Japan because I wanted to experience the moment I was in rather than concerned with catching everything on camera to look back on later. This met my expectations and far beyond. The 360 footage I was able to get during my entire trip was so crystal clear it’s almost as if when I watch the videos I’m right back in my vacation. This was so easy to travel with and so compact it fit in my sling bag as if when I put it away it was never there. I coupled this camera with a backpack clip mount and you would assume the shaking of the camera and the constant moving around Jostling up and down would cause very shaky footage, but the stabilization in the X3 made it seem like it was a floating drone camera that had no movement other than gliding along with me and catching every scene flawlessly, utilizing the Insta360 app on my phone and looking back through the footage, there are so many things that I caught on camera that I had no idea about while I was in the moment, and that is exactly what I was hoping to accomplish with purchasing this camera I would recommend it for anyone who wants to capture the moment, but also be completely immersed in the moment as it’s happening.

Great action/360 cam for all type of activities whether your hiking, biking, skiiing, etc. You just can't these type of photos or videos from other action cameras. Worth the price and the memories it provides for your long trip or just having fun around the local areas. Be caution to protect the lens with some sort of cover to prevent it from getting scratched. Buy accessories depending on the type of action videoing activity you are doing. Easy to use and easy to edit thru the insta360 studio. Light and compact whcih you can easily stored in your pocket or backpack.

I’ve been using the Insta360 X3 for 2 years now, and it’s easily one of the best action cameras I’ve owned. The 360-degree capture is a game-changer, letting me record everything around me and choose the angle later in the app. The video quality is impressive—5.7K resolution is crisp and vibrant, and the stabilization is top-notch, even when I’m biking or hiking over rough terrain. The touchscreen interface is intuitive, and the battery life is decent, lasting me through a full day of casual shooting. I also love the creative options, like the “invisible selfie stick” effect—it’s perfect for getting unique shots without extra gear. The app is slick and makes editing a breeze, though it can be a little overwhelming at first if you’re new to 360 video. My only gripes? It heats up a bit during extended use, and I really regret not getting the lens guard when I first purchased it. (luckily I got the best buy warranty) Low-light performance could be better—night shots get a little noisy but nothing you can't fix by adding a bit more light to your scene, or tweeking some settings. The camera is excellent - I like the interface, versatility, and software more than on the GoPro (Hero 11). And, to my eye, the image quality is about the same. As others have noted, the lenses are pretty exposed and will scratch. I'd recommend getting the stick on lens protectors too. Also, it is expensive. If you'll be using it often or in situations that require a camera like this, it is worth it. Otherwise, maybe not.

I love this camera. I give it 4.5 stars. solid, well-designed, and easy to use. I image quality with videos is not as detailed as an action camera like a GoPro but this is taking 360 images at 5.7k like the GoPro but the GoPro is only handling one image, not two. Nonetheless, I love this camera. Note the invisible selfie stick works with any selfie stick its all about the angle, not the stick. 1/4 inch mounting thread. I use to take my GoPro everywhere and could only get what I was aiming at, now I get a 360 view and can clean it up post-edit. sadly that is at 1080p edited. If used in single lens mode it will produce 5.7 video and does an 8k time lapse. Note: you have to make sure you get a fast write speed micro SSD card as this thing is writing two files, not one. the SanDisc has a decient line. I bought a TeamGroup Blue card that I know worked on my GoPro but couldn't keep up the recording and failed. I used the same brand of purple card and it worked fine. I would recommend the X3, if you can get one.

The quality is so good for it being such a small and hand sized camera! Automatically saves to your phone and you just download and your all done don’t need to plug into anything! And gives you 360 view to everything!

For the price. This is an excellent beginner 360 camera. It runs warm outside. So be careful. But it works great

I bought it to record my workouts and get different angles for my classes and then for it to do the AI editing....not a good fit. The AI editing didn't give any of the workout, and now I have to do it all by hand. Easier to keep with my phone and just record clips. On the other hand, it works great for the cycle group and wonderful shots all around while we are out riding on the weekends.
