The Insta360 X4 is hands down one of the most powerful and versatile action cameras I’ve used. Shooting in 8K opens up incredible detail and flexibility for reframing content later. Whether you’re capturing adventures, vlogs, or cinematic shots, this camera handles it all with ease. The video quality is outstanding, and the built-in stabilization (FlowState) makes everything look smooth, even when you're moving fast. I also love the new single-lens mode for traditional wide-angle shots in 4K — perfect when you don’t need 360. The invisible selfie stick effect is still super cool, and now with even better battery life, I can film longer without constantly recharging. Build quality feels premium, and it’s waterproof out of the box, which makes it ideal for travel or outdoor activities. If you're serious about content creation or just want the most future-proof camera out there, the X4 is absolutely worth it. i think the camera is great, i love the quality and the way the videos come out at the end. I love how easily you can edit and get familiar with the insta360 app, it shows you step by step on how to edit the videos. It’s a great camera the only downside for me was the battery, i wish it would last a bit longer, other then that the insta360 X4 is a great camera!

Impressive camera! I was skeptical of these after seeing distorted videos, then I thought about using it for an inspection project and was pretty impressed. I was hoping for more detail when you zoom in, but overall it gets the details needed for the task. Battery charges fast, fairly intuitive controls, about the only negative I've found is that it gets hot fast and the lenses seem vulnerable. Video is fairly poor in darker areas.

This is my second 360 camera and first of this brand, I don't thing I will ever use another brand, the crisp 360 video is astonishing and the ease to use this with complimenting gadgets is amazing.

I cannot recommend this enough. The use case for content creators is obvious. I’m just a dad. I bought this specifically for a vacation to Hawaii. I knew if I forked over the money for a “toy” like this, I would use it. We get stuck often times recording with our phones, and we get great likely 20 second, targeted clips. I recorded everything I could for a week. I was able to use the features built into the camera to create an excellent video that will remain priceless for our family. It’s easy to use, and built so well. It’s not one of those cameras that has endless amounts of useless accessories. Just a handful that are just as solid as the camera and make it better. I could really go on and on about it, use cases etc. if you’re thinking about it, just do it. You will not regret it. The quality of video is unreal.

This is a perfect camera for riding motorcycles, the battery lasts a decent amount of time, it films the front & back, it gives me a sense of security. It is a great clear picture too. I need to learn all of it's functionality, but I have had mine for 6 months and I would recommend this to anyone considering it. It is very easy to use.

The build quality is solid and hefty—it doesn’t feel cheap in the slightest. With an adapter, you can attach it to various mounts for creative angles, contributing to even more dynamic and exciting footage. A standout feature is the action camera mode, where it uses a single lens to record, offering flexibility for different shooting styles. Whether you’re capturing scenic rides, thrilling action, or immersive 360 moments, the Insta360 X4 is an excellent investment for anyone who wants to record every single detail.

I’ve been using this camera for a little over a year and I absolutely love it. It offers way more flexibility than I need, but gives me an opportunity to grow. Quality is outstanding. The only thing I have a gripe about is the studio software is not very intuitive

It’s an amazing product. I tell everyone it’s a GoPro on steroids. Easy to use and edit. You can edit right from your phone.

Quality is perfection. Easy to set up. Great Christmas present my boyfriend loves it. I played with it when he first opened it and it was really neat.

Bought this camera and at that time it was the best insta360 camera available, then two weeks later insta360 released the X5. I would consider this more of a vloggers camera than an action camera. Was a little disappointed that it didn’t have some settings that my insta 360 one R has like ‘star’ry’ photo and night photo, but the 8k was so clean looking, and post editing on the app was super simple, of course you need to buy lens covers and also screen protectors and invisible selfie stick etc. but camera was worth the money I paid until I seen what the X5 can do so I will be returning this camera when the newer version comes in on Monday. Hoping that they wave the 15% restocking fee since I am a total Best Buy protection policy holder. Had the sales associate notified me about the upcoming release of the newer version I would have totally waited the two weeks to about the restock fee. I will update after outcome on return/refund.

Good quality camer using it for my motorcycle works great easy-to-use ,for video, camera i can recommend it

We got this for our adult daughter. She is amazingly creative and loves films and video editing. She doesn't have a huge media presence but this doesn't have to be used for the internet, it is great for personal creativity. She has already blown us away with her learning videos. She says the software is easy to use and the camera is just a lot of fun. What a great invention. I'm so happy we decided to go with this

I absolutely love the Insta360 X4! The 360 capture records everything around me — no angles missed. The app makes it so easy to edit and share videos straight from my phone. The battery lasts long, it has lens protectors (finally!), and it’s perfect for outdoors. I use it on my paddleboard, in my kayak, and on hikes — and the footage always looks amazing. Total upgrade from the X3!
