Love the low light performance, and 8k performance.Battery life is longer along with fast charging, and the replaceable lenses are a major improvement

The camera is outstanding quality and easy to use. The HDR works fantastic. A small note to people who may be purchasing this for real estate media, i purchased tbis camera for 3d cirtual tours and this camera is not yet supported in apps like zillow 3D or Matterport, so it wont work seamlessly like the x4 or matterport caneras. You can still use this camera to perform real estate work, but it is more complicated and requires extra steps. My own fault for not dping more research before buying it, but still plan on keeping the camera as it is a wonderful device still.

I can say the best thing so far is the quality of the footage. Definitely feels quality made/designed. With the camera price you would think you get at least even a basic mount. I feel it’s on the larger side for action cameras. I haven’t tried all the features, but from what I’ve seen I’m sure it’ll meet/exceed my needs.

I had the x4, bought the x5 and did a lot of side by side videos... gotta say, x5 is better. Worth it to go from x4 to x5? I would say no unless you really need some x5 features. Biggest upgrade for me is the light capture, x5 is just much better at low light environments. The fast battery charge is nice also, i always carry 2 batteries with me, charging to 80% in about 25 mins is great. The visual layout changes in the app does not bother me like a few people did. I find it to work fine.

Im having trouble with the editing program. Other than that its great. Used for motorcycle riding. Has so many features, the quick key button is customizable. The night feature works great. Lowest recodring is 4k except for certain modes. Battery life seems to be short. Careful some modes will heat up the camera.

Got this camera to update my camera collection and I’m obsessed with it. It’s my new daily video camera. It’s 360, fits in my hand, can fit in a little satchel bag and can charge close to full in 20 minutes on a battery pack. This camera can literally shoot a full days worth of footage and not miss a moment. And it’s also waterproof on top of everything and has replacement lens. There’s no reason to not have one of these in your arsenal.

Awesome camera. When I was riding my motorcycle it captured everything I was doing all around me. The pictures as well it took was crazy. When I would go to football games it would literally capture every detail.

It captures every angle I need in a single shot, which saves time and effort. The tiny planet feature adds a fun twist, and the phone app makes everything easier to control. In terms of resolution, this is the best I’ve seen from the brand short of their professional models.

This Insta360 X5, is absolutely amazing when it comes for editing it makes your videos-and photos a real deal. Its perfect for adventures as an action cam.

Awesome product, wish I would've bought one years ago. Will definitely require some time to learn how to really use the computer software to edit videos however they have to be the clearest and nicest pictures and videos I've ever seen.

I used to be a huge GoPro fan and loved my Max, but then I tried the Insta360 X4 and got totally hooked-I was super happy with it. When the X5 came out, I upgraded because of the swappable lens and the better night shots, and I've been really impressed. If you're planning to stick with it for a while, it's smart to grab any accessories you'll need now. I'm really loving my X5!

I haven't had a chance to shoot night but it's an amazing camera. Major selling point is if the lens get scratched, we can replace it ourselves. I've already had to have my X4 replaced because scratched lenses. Can't wait to take on my cruise to Alaska later this year.

I highly recommend the X5! Whether I'm streaming, swimming in the pool, or letting my toddler film, this camera holds up perfectly. The photos are fantastic, and the replaceable lens guards give me total peace of mind regarding scratches. It’s durable, easy to use, and opens up so many creative possibilities. Love it!

I can’t begin to say how amazing this camera is and how easy the software is for editing. I recently took a trip where I use this camera every day and got amazing memories with it.

Great product! I use this camera for my DJ gigs and I will say the resolution is really good for a 360 camera, this model is also the greatest when it comes to low light since my dj sets take place in the dark most of the time. Overall I highly recommend this camera to djs and or people that want an action camera for other activities!
