Very small for a room but very powerful! It does the job.

I absolutely love everything about this air purifier. It has a small footprint but aesthetically fits any decor in the room. It is very easy to set up. Simply unpack from the box, remove any packaging material, insert filter, pick a spot in the room, plug in, and let it go... boom, fresh clean air starts circulating from purifier. I set it on auto and just let it do its job. It is very quiet but has a powerful fan if you want to turn it up. There is a very futuristic led glow that emanates from the top of the purifier that gives a beautiful ambiance, but also alerts you to the air quality when the color changes. In addition to the color led, there is a digital read out that gives all pertinent info needed to monitor the air quality and filter condition. All in all a great air purifier to add a level of cleanliness and protection from air impurities. The only addition that could make it better would be a bluetooth app to monitor and control the purifier.

I bought this when it was on sale and was a part of a gift for one of my siblings. Though, I didn't realize it was meant for Large rooms. I was mostly looking at the prices haha. But, it works well in a bedroom, and would recommend it.

The unit is moderate in size with the circular air filter almost as big as the entire unit. Installation of the filter is easy, but remember to take it out of the plastic ! The filter is black on one side which means it has a charcoal-infused filter. The controls are quite comprehensive, with the fault of not being able to clearly read the control labels. They do light up, but not the labels. I found myself constantly reaching for the instructions to use the controls. The 'air quality' reading is helpful although I do wonder how accurate. It constantly fluctuates between 99.8 and 97.5 which makes me wonder. This has to be one of the quietest units I have ever heard, which is good, since coupled with the displays lets me know its working !! Will not work with a smart switch as the default is off when turned off and on by the switch. That is a major drawback,

They have made an air purifier that is super easy to unbox, setup, and use. I like the light design, it is subtle and can be turned off if you want to use it in a dark room maybe at night time. I can see it actually working, I can burn a candle in a room below the room this is in and it can pick it up. The strength is great but it is a little loud for a room on full strength. The only other knock I would say is that it only sends the fan air up and can't be directed outward to the room to help with circulation. The filter was easy to install and should be very easy to change. On the lower setting it could be used as a slight white noise machine with great air cleaning funtionality. I did leave it running for a few days it eventually turned itself off, not sure if that is by design but it turned back on and it still working great.

If, like me, you are not familiar with Instant Brands, you might not consider it for an air purifier. Quick research shows the company offers some very well-known product brands. So, the name is strong, but what about the purifiers? Instant offers several models of purifier to accommodate varying needs: room sizes from 136sf to 419sf. The AP300 is the largest and is being used in the master bedroom. The AP300’s design is attractive, particularly if you choose it in Pearl. The size is rather compact making it very easy to place/move as needed. Once you have it out of the box and have removed the packing material, all you need do is plug it in and touch the “On” button on the easy to see touch-screen control panel. You will see it count down 30 seconds (measuring room air quality), and then cleaning begins. At startup, the fan speed controls will default to “Auto.” With the seamless automatic operation, you might never need to touch the controls again. There is a very clear and detailed description of the control panel functions in the User Manual that comes with the purifier. In the “Auto” setting, the purifier’s plasma ion technology helps breakdown impurities. Should you want to turn off the ion setting, touch the “Ion” button. To turn it back while the purifier is still running, simply touch “Ion” again. Sure, I played with it at first, but I found it’s best to just let it do its thing. Check in occasionally to be sure all is as should be. Also, at some point, the filter is going to need service. Filter life is projected as 6-8 months. When in normal operation, the AP300 is whisper quiet! Even when it “revs” up for heavy cleaning, it is not particularly loud. Along with the Plasma Ion cleaning feature, the AP300 has 3-in-1 filtration designed to remove 99.97% of airborne particulate. The 3-in-1 components are a true HEPA-13 (removal of allergens, smoke, etc.), an activated carbon filter (removal of odors) and an antimicrobial filter coating to prevent microbial growth and protect from degradation). As I was writing this review, it crystallized how much I have come to like this purifier. It sets itself up, looks good, work wells, is whisper quiet, and is competitively priced. What’s not to like?
