I bought this for my kitchen. This really works and keep the odour of spices from spreading out in whole home.

What a great Air Purifier. It not only does the job well cleaning the air but it knocks it out in a very large area. Instant Air Purifier is large and quite big but it fits perfectly in areas out of the way. The display is bright and Buttons are large enough to see. They are touch sensitive buttons and respond well. Design; it looks nice and doesn’t intrude on your home look but still compact to move around room to room. This is one of the better air purifier I’ve used due to its size and nature, fun part here it automatically sense the air and adjust the purifier to your to it in auto mode. It takes about 30 seconds to detect and start cleaning. “Plasma ION” button gives you a triple filtering action which helps further to our filtration and around the house cleaning the air. 3 Fan speeds give you greater control of the air in your home at the level you need to. Noise level isn’t too distracting with the Instant Air Purifier, seems to be on par with other brands so I can’t complain. The display also can show levels of pollution of your home would percentages on the device that’s extremely helpful. Brightness to turn down the display is appreciated as well. This one is good, in about 45 mins the air was extremely clean but I didn’t have it on the highest fan speed. There are pricier air purifiers out there but this one comes in a fantastic price. In fact it has many of the newer technologies modern air purifiers have at a lower cost. Which is why I would recommend highly. Here you are not breaking the bank to get clean air to improve your health. I think Instant made something nice. They deserve solid 5 stars.

no more allergies at home so thats cool. does practically nothing for dusty dust but like i spray painted in my apartment with closed windows and it vented the air completely so its like the real deal

So far I like it. But I need to see what the filter looks like after a month because it says one filter is good for 8 months. We will see.

I have had other air purifiers and I find this Instant large room Purifier AP300 to be excellent. It couldn’t be easier to set up - remove the plastic from the filter and then pop it back in. Then plug it in and turn the unit on. I checked the included manual and decided the Auto setting would be fine for the dining room where we eat and of course where the cat likes to hang out. As far as I can see from the display panel - it is working great at keeping the air at a high quality. Instant claims it has been proven to remove 99.9% of viruses from the air, even COVID-19. I can’t know that’s true, but it gives me some comfort that they claim it does. I know and trust Instant products. It also removes bacteria, smoke, allergens, etc. The HEPA filter should be replaced every 6-8 months depending on your usage. They retail for $69.99. This unit isn’t obtrusive looking - I love it in the Pearl color that kind of blends in with the decor and it is light enough to move around when needed. I turned the light on the display panel off. I can see the display just fine during the day and since it is on auto 24/7, I don’t need to look at it in the dark. The noise levels on this don’t bother me at all - no matter which speed it’s on, I don’t hear it from the attached living room where the tv is. The a/c is louder, so it’s good for me. All in all, I am very happy with this Instant Air Purifier that covers up to 388sq ft. It works as well as the $1000 air purifier I had. I would have liked to see an app for this so I could check/adjust the settings from the upstairs, but I can live without that. I would highly recommend this air purifier.

The Instant Air Purifier Model AP300 arrived in perfect shape packaged securely. After opening it, I installed the filter, plugged it in then started reading the user manual that came with it. The unit is simple to set up, install and operate. The air purifier works automatically, constantly monitors air quality and environment and switches to Eco and Night modes automatically. The HEPA 24 filter removes ultrafine particles from the air and breaks down harmful imputities in the air while absorbing and eliminating odors. The filter is verified to purify air of impurities 5x per hour. The Instant Air Purifier is designed to work automatically and has 3 levels of automatic operation: High Air Quality, Medium and Low. The air purifier uses up to 50% less energy when operating in ECO mode. At Low, you can barely hear the unit operating. I have found that running the unit on Medium works best for me. At high level, it is noticeably louder. At night, the unit automatically detects room light and turns off the display lights. You can override the setting to leave the lights on.There are four levels of brightness: 0, 20, 60 and 100% which you can choose from. The air purifier uses Plasma ion technology to produce positive and negative ions that help isolate and breakdown harmful impurities in the air. Plasma ion operation is automatically turned off during Night Mode. Replacement filters are available from Instant Brands and usually last for 6-8 months depending on the quality of the air in your home. the air purifier is designed for ongoing use and is safe to leave on all the time when you are home.

It was perfect the first few weeks. After a while it will ask for its filter to be replaced. Cleaning the filter and putting it back won't solve the problem.

I am currently using 3 other brands of air purifiers (Filtrete, Honeywell, Blueair) and this one from Instant Air is my 4th. I am currently using the Instant Air in my kitchen since I have the Filtrete in the living area. In comparison with Filtrete, the Instant Air does not have an app. However, the features are quite similar. I like that the Instant Air has an Auto mode setting where it automatically adjust the speed when it detects bad air quality. I know that the sensor works because whenever we cook, after a few minutes, we will hear the air purifier increase in speed until it cleans the air and goes back to the lowest speed. It is very quiet at the lowest speed setting, I could barely hear it. But I know it works as I see the numbers (air quality % or amount of PMs it detects) changes from time to time depending on what’s going on in the surroundings. The full test would be this fall during allergy season but so far I am liking this product and highly recommend. I wish this one also has an app where you can adjust the settings from your phone and alert you when the air quality is getting worse. As far as design, one comment I have is that the opening where the air gets pushed out of is a little wide. I always have to keep watch of my toddler because she could easily put small things in there (or worse, put water in it). I don’t think this is a design flaw but just something to keep in mind if you have a toddler around.

No dust removal . Shows air quality being 99.1% yet i can see dust particle flying around from sun ray and machine we have for seeing dust . Returning it soon.

So purifiers really don't have much "technology" in them. They are just a large fan that moves air through a filter. Most of the time you are just looking at what type of filter they use and how big of a fan/filter it is so you know what size room to put it in. Despite that, this unit did have some innovative ideas that are really nice. The first thing I noticed is that it has a nice display screen that can tell you some of the basic info about what it reads as your air quality. I have used other purifiers that give you similar information, but you only get it if you download their app and read it through your phone. Its nice to have it right on the unit. Second, many purifiers now days come with an auto mode that will save electricity and fan life by adjusting the speed of the fan according to what its internal sensor determines is your need. This one takes things just a step farther and determines what the lighting situation is in your room and turns on and off the lighting automatically. This is great to save energy and really nice for a bedroom where you may like the light on in the day but don't want it to bother you while you are trying to sleep. These seem like really small and simple things to program into a purifier given the technological abilities companies have now days, but most purifiers just don't. For the purifier itself, I do like that it draws in air at the bottom from all directions and pushes the air upward. It makes it easier to place the unit without worrying that you are blocking airflow and you can also have it right next to your bed without it blowing directly on you (if that's something that bothers you). I didn't love the way you change the filter and that you have to pick up the unit and basically flip the whole thing upside down, but the unit isn't that heavy so it wasn't a big deal. I just know overtime purifiers all collect a slight layer of dust on them and its going to be a bit messier to change the filter next time. It won't be too hard to wipe down the whole thing first, but I always put off changing the filter when I should and when I finally get to it I know its going to irritate me to have to wipe i down first then turn it all upside down. But nothing is perfect and this is really a small thing compared to the issues I've seen with other purifiers. Functionally it seems to be working great, and my daughter with allergies as confirmed that it is working great to keep her stuffy nose and scratchy eyes to a minimum and helping her to sleep easier. I still am loving this unit so far and think its a great choice for anyone looking for a purifier for a slightly larger room.
