A little time consuming getting set up on line for this, but well worth the trouble. As soon as my printer signals that it is running low, I get a new refill in the mail. There is a return envelope for returning the used cartridges and you just mail them back free of charge. You can't beat the price.

I've only been on this plan for less than a month and HP has already sent replacement cartridges. I fully expect they will do as they advertise and send ink before I need it in the future. It is also less expensive than going to the store and buying ink.

I am really excited about enrolling in the instant ink program from HP. Ink cartridges are expensive and $2.99 a month is a bargain compared to what I would spend if I had to buy the cartridges outright. The convenience of having the ink sent when needed is also a plus. Only downside is that I had to give a credit card to have the payment come out monthly.

This is a great idea for budgeting. Ink is replaced by mail when you begin to run out. Saves time running to the store. Depending on your usage and plan you choose it will save you money. Start close to what you need and you can always upgrade. No membership fees. Cancel anytime.

As a teacher I print all my work at home. I was running out to buy ink all the time. With this instant ink plan I always have ink and as soon as it runs low more ink is mailed right to my home. The cost is great. I bought the 300 sheet plan and I save so much money.In fact I just bought the plan as a gift for my friend.

HP replacement link via mail is so convenient! After purchasing my new HP printer, my new ink cartridge (via subscription) arrived in the mail one week later. This not only saves you money but is very convenient to avoid turning to the store for ink replacements. What incredible concept this is!

Instant ink is HP's ink subscription service. With all things connected today, HP's jumping on the bandwagon in increases revenues through this win-win service. The card was a free bonus with certain printer purchases and facilitates the set up of an ink subscription with HP. Upon setting up an account, HP will credit the account with $5. They have subscription plans for just about everyone and they start as low as $3/month. How it works is that your printer sends HP ink levels on a regular basis, when the ink levels hit a certain threshold, HP will automatically ship you replacement cartridges. Prices are calculated based on price per page and are more competitive than you going out to purchase OEM cartridges at a retailer. Shipping is free which is another bonus, because ink will magically appear at your door when you need it :-D Now I know there are many out there that refill inkjet cartridges, I myself used to be one of those people, but what I realized was that you don't really know how much ink they're putting in for what they're charging you. They can fill it half way and you wouldn't know it. I used to get my cartridges refilled at my local warehouse store that required a membership and to fill both the B&W and Color cartridges, it cost me about $21. That was about 1/2 the price of purchasing the OEM ones at retail, but again, I didn't know how much that refill yielded. I would have to assume that it was comparable to OEM levels, making printing about half the price. Well when I looked up the price per page with the subscription, it was about half the price as well! With costs being the same based on price per page, the convenience of getting ink delivered right to your door gives HP the advantage IMO. While I'm a fan of the program in general, it's still not for everyone. The subscription is a monthly plan, HP gets your money regardless of whether or not you print anything. And there is a max number of pages to every plan, so you can't binge print either. Best thing to do is to calculate it for yourself, then determine if the convenience of a subscription is right for you.

After Paying monthly for ink for guesstimated ink usage by page counting for over a year, I decided to cancel my subscription. I had just received my new ink cartridges and found out that the new ink cartridges full of ink cannot be used unless your subscription is active. So, after paying for ink for a year, I can’t use it unless I continue to pay! Needless to say shame on them, lost this client for good! WHAT A WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY!!

I registered the ink program info online and received the first refill (FREE) within a few days. It will be interesting to see it in action as time goes by, but the concept of having the refills sent to me is a great time-saver and the cost seems very reasonable.

Fabulous way to not have to run out to buy copier cartridges at the last minute. Once a month I receive the 2 cartridges & I am good for the month. Keeps up with how many pages you are printing so you can adjust how often you receive new cartridges. Great idea!

We had a wine cooker refrigerator in our basement bar. When we turned it on the compressor would go on but would not stay on. We called geek squad because we have been buying all new appliances from Best Buy. It’s the only way we can guarantee that we can get service. This was not bought by us, but we acquired when we purchased our current home. Geek squad said that they would look at it if we brought it in and so we set up an appointment time. Luke the manager of the geek squad department in Edwardsville, Illinois, was there to help us. He confirmed what we thought. It was the compressor and would probably also need a refill of freon. At this time Luke and I agreed we would just be better off replacing this appliance. Luke worked at finding the correct dimensions so that it would fill the same space between cabinets. And then it was a matter of cost. This one we were replacing was on the expensive side and we wanted one that was definitely less. Luke found just the one. It still has the appearance of being just as expensive. The catch was … they had none in stock. We were heading out of town the following day and that town had two. We picked it up at the second location and could not be happier all the way around. Thank you Luke. We have always been able to find really great people working at the store in Edwardsville. Great team.

We love the convenience and value of the HP Instant Ink Subscription Service! No more having to run out to the store in the middle of the night to get ink for the kids' school projects. Love the 300 page plan for $9.99 per month.

No more running to the store for ink and HP gave me 6 months of free ink,, i print about 1000 sheets a month this is a money saver for me. Thanks HP and best buy sales, for explaining it well to me...This was a smart purchase

I normally don't take these offers. But after careful consideration Kaaba instant eke seemed to be worth the price. It gives me enough copies, it saves me trips to the store to buy cartridges, and it's pretty affordable.

Just signed up for this program. Have ALWAYS been infuriated by the high cost of printer ink. Not only does this seem to be the least expensive way to purchase ink, it would seem to be the most convenient. Time will tell.

I had not heard of this program before. I can't tell you how many ink cartridges I had to purchase in the past because they dried up before being used. With this program, HP sends it when I need it, and the cost savings for me is significant!

This is the best thing I've ever done..... I print a lot of photos and papers so this is wonderful. HP keeps track of my usage and sends ink when needed. I save money and don't have to run out and buy ink all the time.

This product is very convenient and the price is worth it if you compare what you would normally spend on ink. The system records what you print and autimatically sends you replacement ink cartridges when your low.

We were about to buy new ink for our old printer but instead saved money by buying a printer qualified for the monthly HP program. It's worth it to us as we will likely never have to buy ink again and pay only $3 per month.

Product is fairly self-explanatory. HP sends ink when you need it for a monthly fee. Relatively easy to set up and promotions run sometimes offering a few months of free ink. Store offered this free with certain printers when I bought my new printer - they also gave out promo codes for a few months for new subscribers. I think HP was running a promotion for a few months for new subscribers at the time too. I ended up with free ink from August to January I think. When I used my last printer I was spending roughly $35 per ink cartridge pair and used multiple pairs a year for relatively basic occasional printing (resumes, letters, order confirmations). Using at least 1 cartridge set a year this pays for itself.
