Your kitchen needs an Instant pot right now

Your kitchen needs an Instant pot right now. After hearing a lot of hype, I decided to see what all the fuss is about. So this is a dual cooker, you can use it as a pressure cooker for cooking a dish in 10 minutes, or you can use it as a slow cooker to make a dish in 4-6 hours. There is a little bit of a learning curve to figure out exactly what combination of settings works best for your style of dishes. Everything we have cooked so far has come out great and there are endless recipes on the internet, youtube etc. Its very easy to clean too. I think we will continue to use this for a very long time as it's so versatile. A must have for anyone who likes cooking!

I had a Wolf Gang pressure cooker that my mom had found at a second hand store. It was brand new still had the wrapping on everything. So I figured I would give it a try. Well I tried it once & it died halfway through cooking. So I went on the search for a pressure cooker. I’m a 44 year old woman who has a Googling addiction. I always want to be sure that what I purchase is the best and will not break down on me. It typically takes me a month+ to order something bc I look at all the reviews (Google, YouTube, Best Buy etc. and Wayfair. I like Wayfair reviews bc you have to actually show that you bought it from Wayfair to be allowed to review it. Anyways, so I decided to buy the InstantPot bc it has the stainless steel insert pot. Did you know that the stainless steel makes your food taste better? I discovered that in my research too. Evidently the pressure cookers that have the non-stick insert, gives food a slightly metallic taste. Well I am sorry but a slightly metallic taste isn’t what I am wanting in a Pressure Cooker. Plus thinking back to my Grandparents that had a pressure cooker in the old days, there’s was stainless steel. So I was wanting the Evo Duo but then I noticed it was out of stock everywhere. I did a little more research and discovered that InstantPot was discontinuing the Evo. So I went with the next best one which was the InstantPot Duo. I want to be clear on this…. Read the Instructions! Do not just jump in and then complain that it doesn’t work right. Read the Instructions! I just tried this with Real Simple recipe for Chicken Veggie Miso Soup with Multi-Cooker. Look on RealSimple.com for recipe. Did you know that Miso is healthy for you? I’m trying to be more healthy, hence the pressure cooker. Anyways, this was the same recipe where the old Wolf Gang Pressure Cooker died on me. It literally took 10 minutes and I had the most moist chicken and the tastiest soup ever! Omg! Something that the instruction manual points out that I want everyone to be sure to understand, you can’t just dump ingredients in and call it a day, it’s all about measuring. There’s a line in the insert pot where it shows not to fill over that line and if you’re putting items inside that swell there’s another line that is even less. I would advise to follow that direction. Why? Because it can clog the pressure cooker. It can also cause it to turn off bc of the safety features. Anyways, read the instructions, follow the instructions and I promise your recipes will turn out just as yummy.

This is by far one of the best things I have purchased. I was a little skeptic but I am hooked! Super easy. Haven't tried all the functions but the slow cooker, rice, and stew have just been spot on! Anyone looking to replace quite a few of your kitchen gadgets this would be the way to go.

My Instant Pot is such a time saver. I can brown or saute meats and vetables in the same pot that I use to pressure cook my meal. The pressure holds all the vitamins and mimerals inside the food and creates very healthy and tasty food in a short period of time.

This is my first time purchasing a pressure cooker. Boy have things come a long way from my mother's pressure cooker. I was scared to even go into the kitchen when she was using that bad boy. This thing is fast and easy to use. Highly recommended.

Not only does it do what it is supposed to, but it does is really efficiently. You can really cut down your cooking time with this appliance. I may purchase a second one so I can cook things simultaneously with the Instant Pot.

This product is great! I think I’ve used it almost every day since we got it. The potatoes have come out perfect, soup has been great, rice and lentils were delicious, steel cut oats were good. So I’d say I really like it.

But once you use it a few times you get the hang of it. It is pretty easy to use, although the instructions assume you know at least a little about it. Many recipes tell you to use manual mode, which does not exist on this Instant Pot. It is “pressure cook” instead. There is lots of information and recipes online and they makes this much easier to use. Find one of the Instant Pot 101 blog posts and go for it.

My new favorite kitchen appliance. Don't know why I waited so long to buy one of these. Carefully follow all guidelines and have made really good soups, beef dishes, egg dishes, and others. Have had no problems with this appliance.

I purchased my Instant pot Pressure Cooker about a week ago! I’ve been wanting one so bad since this is the New thing everyone is talking about. You get food done so fast and it’s really not that hard to use. Once you do the water test it really helps you get an ease for the pressure cooker. I made my 1st meal in it. Posole I made it in about 35 mins! Absolutely Love!

Got one for me and my daughter for Christmas. She has been asking for one for 2 years. It is so much easier to use than my old pressure cooker which was just too much work and at times scary.

The Instant Pot I recently purchased passed its test run today. From the industrial strength cord to the stainless steel inner bowl, the quality of the materials is apparent. It comes with a 12-month warrantee. I am happy to find a replacement for both a slow cooker and a pressure cooker in one appliance.

The Instant Pot is an amazing piece of technology. I read many reviews before buying this and you would have a hard time finding a negative review. There is a learning curve because this is not just a slow cooker but the instructions are easy to understand and the product works great. A great time savor and very effective as a way to reduce calories by cooking with steam and/or pressure. I just ordered an Instant Pot cookbook because the recipe book that is included is limited to only a handful of recipes.
