We bought this Pro Plus model to replace it, and it failed with the exact same error on the first use. We cleaned it thoroughly and tried again with another recipe and it failed that too. Returning it and going to some other brand

Instant pot discontinued the services that allow these instant pot connect to phones over WiFi. The only reason I bought this model was for the ability to connect it to my phone as advertised, by Best Buy and I feel lied to.
