First, this Instant Pot does everything it claims to do and does it well. I am a satisfied customer from that angle. But when you comparison shop by brand and venue (which I didn't do until a friend questioned the price) this is seriously overpriced. Great device + Terrible Price = Average rating.

There is a lot that goes into owning and using an instant pot. The pressure is no joke, you can get burned. It's not like "set it and forget it". The instructions are vague and it's like they assume you've owned a dozen of these before. I wish I could return it but I've already used it once.

I love this Instant Pot, but this one gets an error message when you use the sauté function. To clear it out, the unit has to be unplugged and restarted. The 8 quart doesn't seem to have this problem. Aside from that, it's a great appliance.

The Instant Pot is something every cook should have in their kitchen. Incredibly convenient to be able to set food in before going to work and to come home to a perfectly cooked meal is fantastic. The Duo Evo Plus makes it even easier to get the perfect meal quick and simple. I've been using mine for a couple of months now and haven't had any issues. Between pressure cooking meat for a stew to cooking rice. The Duo Plus has a mode and setting for a wide range of meals. The meat after pressure cooking was just sooooo TEEENDEER. The quality of the device itself is phenomenal. Being quite weighty it lends itself to being quite rugged. The knob and buttons have a satisfying click that has taken the abuse of my kitchen quite well. It is a versatile kitchen device that I can't recommend enough. Make sure to read the instructions thoroughly, I found the recipes to be quite precise and any deviation can have bad results.

I've owned 2 instant pots before this and I prefer them over this unit, the regular 6Qt duo is better

This is a great product. We have used it for years. The only issue is that now the lid valve is not holding pressure and cannot use. I will call instant pot care as it seems they dont sell parts for this one nor a new lid and it is discontinued.
