You can tell some engineer was tasked with designing this unit with the absolute bare minimum material to have it work for a very limited lifespan.

Owned for 2 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.don't get this if you are a clean freak. hard to keep the interior clean if the oils hit the heating elements. can't use foil to cover the drip pan (since its impossible to pull it out without the foil coming off). you have to be mindful of which rack-level you place your food. sound is pretty loud and annoying.

We must have gotten a defective product due to the item emitting smoke regardless of what product we prepared. The device heats easily and effectively, but that was it. We used it a few times before we sent it back as defective.

This thing was loud!! It might have been defective from manufacturer because upon opening the fryer door, a nut and bolt were in the bottom. Not certain where they came from but the fan noise was intolerable. I returned it after reading other online reviews stating it was very loud.

So much smoke my smoke detectors go off! The presets are not very accurate. AND, it’s not easy to clean.

Only lasted a year!
