It makes cooking easier and faster with Instant Pot multipurpose functionality.

Thought this could also do air frying but it doesn't. Its a good pressure cooker but if i had known that its does not allow air frying i would have bought the smaller version as I live in a small apartment and cook usually for only myself.

Wife loves this instant pot. Heats up very fast and is easy to use.

The first one took a dump on me after the first use. Best Buy was able to exchange it with speedy delivery. I already have used this instant pot multiple times. It works great and ready to explore other uses. I only recommend buying the 8 qt. The 6qt works good for out small family.

Once you figure out the different functions. It's very user-friendly. Helps incorporate cooking easily into the daily routine. Do consider buying a second inner container as well since that helps cook multiple food items that you would want to eat together.

Great little addition in the kitchen! Needed something small and convenient for quick and easy meals. I haven't had the chance to make too many things in it, but it's easy to use and I was able to make a very delicious pork stew!

I use this quite often. Makes great soups, and pulled pork and chicken. I was not able to connect it to the Wi-Fi though. However that’s not something I definitely need to do.

Best purchase I have made in years! I use my instant pot 5 days a week. This thing has changed my life! Throw away your crockpot and get an instant pot. You will not be disappointed!

Second one i have purchased. I needed to have one present for my rebtal property. This InstantPot is a must own. Never disappoints. The food is cooked to perfection everytime.

I had been wanting to try an Instant pot for a while now. This one was on a good sale, so I went for it. Functionally, it takes the place of a bunch of different appliances - sauté pan, pressure cooker, slow cooker, rice cooker, etc... However, the main selling point is the pressure cooking feature - take hours out of cooking dishes that normally take a long time. The appliance has a touch panel with a bunch of different buttons and features, and unfortunately it's not something that is intuitive to use - as there's a lot of buttons and especially when pressure cooking, steps that have to be followed to not only ensure you get the desired outcome, but not to get scalded. I tried cooking two dishes in this - chicken, and then rice. Simple chicken for shredded chicken breasts to go in another dish came out decent, and the recipe stated 5 or 8 minutes pressure cooking time, but then there was a cooldown period on the pressure cook that also took another 5 or 10 minutes. I forget the exact times, but in reality, I could have poached chicken breast on the stovetop in about as much time as I had invested in the Instant Pot pressure cook. The chicken breasts tasted OK (It's chicken breast - about as blank of a slate as it gets in cooking), but they did have a slightly different texture than I get when cooking conventionally. I also tried a recipe for Mexican rice. I think this called for a sauté of the rice and then a 5 minute pressure cook with a 5 or 10 minute cool down. By the time I did those steps, I could have also cooked this dish conventionally with the same or slightly less effort when you incorporate the effort to clean the Instant Pot. The rice came out with an OK flavor, but came out slightly crunchy - which again, if more cooking time were required, it definitely would have paid off to cook it conventionally. There's a few pieces to the Instant Pot to clean, but it's not out of line if you're doing a long cook / one pot meal. I was also not able to get the iPhone app to sync to the Instant Pot - this could have been a result of running the iOS 14 Beta, so I did not count this in my overall review of the Instant Pot - nor can I comment on it's functionality or value. Overall, I was not impressed with the Instant Pot. I also examined the catalog of recipes I wanted to try and I can adapt those for a slow cooker just as easily. Given that I work from home (even pre-pandemic), I have the option to tend to a slow cooker if needed. I can see this being a good option for busy families who are on short time or those with limited space who still want to cook a good/healthy meal.

I love this. It makes everything so easy. Making meat in it comes out so good, very soft and tender. Ribs fall off the bone. The stuff you can make is endless.

Great addition to a kitchen. Makes tasty, tender foods quickly. Just be careful with the pressure release so you don't get burned.

I bought it to upgrade the one we have for so many years, my wife and I love it. Instant Pot save a lot of time in the kitchen.

Not happy at all would not recommend. Heavy. And Steam takes very long to vent before opening. Water drips and burn counter or table top. Must have it on hot plate or wood cutting board. Thought defective emailed company with worst customer service. Sorry missed my return opportunity. Would have returned for $$ back.

this thing is rad. you can use it as a rice or pasta cooker or make some crockpot type stuff. easy to use adn works.

Love it! Cant believe how fast and easy meals in my new instant pot are not to mention all the great recipes on the app
