My wife took it out of the box on Christmas Day and hasn’t stopped using it. It is not much faster than her regular cooking BUT she can put everything in and walk away. It is very easy to clean and use. The VIVA has many features that she hasn’t used yet but looks forward to. It was a great value for our money. She keeps it on the counter all the time, which means it is as important as the coffee maker!

Great price at the time of purchase! It is efficient and fast! I fit really good in my small kitchen on the countertop. Love it!

Love to use my new instant pot. This is my second pressure cooker, but my first instant pot. I also really like using the sous vide feature.

As I write this I am savoring beef stew made in my instant pot. And it's excellent! Go out and buy one NOW!

Bought this for my wife for Christmas and she loves it. Makes cooking much easier and definitely a lot faster. She cooks a lot of crockpot meals and this not only replaces it but also simplifies the process. The manual is well laid out and easy to understand which helps because it can be intimidating with all the options it has. So far everything we’ve cooked in it has come out delicious. My only complaint would be the time it takes to pressurize but considering the size of it, how quickly it actually cooks and how well the food tastes, it’s a fair trade off. She’s excited again about cooking thanks to this little piece of heaven. If you’re debating on getting one make the jump. You won’t be disappointed.

Initially I had bought an off-brand device like this. Big mistake. Nothing matches the quality and features of the Instant Pot brand. I have used it for making hard boiled eggs (they peel so easily) and the best St. Louis Ribs I have ever made. Visit Mr. Google and look for Instant Pot recipes: I did and was amazed at how functional this device is. I am thrilled to have it and use it at least three times a week. Great purchase!

I bought this when it was the deal of the day and I have to say that it was a amazing bargain. It's easy to use. There is an app that gives recipes/length of time/prep items etc. The build quality is great. I probably use mine at a minimum of once a week, worst thing about it is the cleaning of the lid since there are small areas, such as the valve were air flows out or is locked. Other than that you can manually set times and there is even the option of warm. If you have the opportunity to pick this up on sale it's a good buy.

Good size. Purchased mostly for the pressure feature. I cooked a meat that would have cooked in 3hrs just in 45 minutes. Extra tender just the way I want it. The price point was right due to it was on sale. I'm going to explore the other features. Works great so far. I must have

Just buy one you will not be disappointed !!! easy to use, well engineered, quality materials. great easy to make receipts on u-tube. I've made, chicken, ribs , pork shoulder, Hungarian goulash and beef stroganoff. I purchased a 3 compartment steam tray that fits perfect in the pot. I use this for steamed veggies only takes 5 min Also you will find yourself using less pots and pans I hope this information helps with your decision.

For my 1st use I decided to make some beef and wanted the beef to come out like pulled beef and it sure did. Its amazing to use and very easy!

The Instapot has saved me so much time when making meals! Super easy and doesn’t take up a lot of space! I was able to cook mashed potatoes within 15 minutes from start to finish! Typically would have taken 30-40 minutes by standard stovetop! Highly recommend!

I love my Instant Pot! I can cook frozen foods in 35 minutes that is tasty and tender. Can’t believe I lived so long without this. Be careful with the steam when you’re releasing pressure. Sometimes it can spit out liquids so I usually cover with a kitchen towel. Definitely read the instructions if you choose not to use the presets.

I'm not one of those that's going to tell you this thing will change your life, but it is a very handy tool for the kitchen. There are some great recipes that can be made very quickly, and the timer is a really nice feature that you won't find on most traditional pressure cookers. The whole machine is very sturdy, and everything that needs to be cleaned (including the lid) it's dishwasher-safe, so that's a big bonus in my book.

This is my first pressure cooker and instant pot, had never used one as well so i was hesitant to purchase. I have been using this pot in replacement of the conventional stove and it proves to be easy to use and I love that you can use this pot to saute as well. Although there are a lot of functions, I have not able to use of them just because I have not tried it for any of my regular food recipes. I love making soup using this pot. It's a great item to use if you want to deal away with too many pots and pans. I use this for my regular cooking while I use an airfryer for anything that I need to fry. It was already late that I saw that another model can be converted to airfryer. At anyrate I now only have two items in my kitchen. The only con I see is you have to buy the accessories separately i.e. steamer basket, tongs etc which I believed should have been disclosed and should have been included the basic ones. If you are to cook many types of food at a given time, I recommend buying an extra inner pot so you can continue using the instant pot without downtime.

I purchased my first Instant Pot 2-1/2 years ago during Amazon's Black Friday sale. Big fan! Cuts down on cooking time with moist & juicy flavorful results! This Best Buy purchase was a Christmas gift for my bff. It was also the lowest price I've ever seen for this model at 59 dollars and 99 cents. The plan was for me to swing by my friend's one weekend and make a dish together. Being self-quarantined changed that plan, so I gave her a virtual cooking class this past weekend (she made kielbasa with cabbage, which took 25 minutes). What can I say? She took one bite and became weak in the knees - she's loved it! She couldn't believe the flavor that was achieved in such a short period of time. She's now a Insta-believer and is scouring the internet for other recipes to try for her family :) Just want to mention - please keep in mind that it takes several minutes for the Instant Pot to pressurize. Once it reaches the pressurized state, the 25 minute cook time begins. Once it reaches the cook time you've selected, the unit then begins depressurizIng - which takes another 5-10 minutes. If you don't want to wait for it to depressurize on its own, simply tap the Release Valve and step back because stream of volcanic proportions will erupt from the valve! The accessories I have ordered over time: Instant Pot Glass Lid, Steamer Rack and Silicone Lid. I highly recommend. BTW, I now own 2 Instant Pots, and have also purchased as gifts for my brother and sister.

I purchased the Instant Pot Viva 6 as an upgrade to the Instant Pot 3 quart that we already had. It is the perfect size for a 2 person household. The 3 quart proved to be too small, even for 2 people. The Instant Pot Viva 6 is easy to use and allows us to have leftovers. Meals and soups have come out delicious! I purchased it on Best Buy at a daily sale price, which made the purchase even better!

I finally bought into the hype and got an instant pot. Glad we did. I like to cook chicken breast and tenderloins in this thing. After it pressurizes (about 5 minutes), they are done about 6 minutes later. Just add a cup of liquid (water, dressing, etc.). The remaining liquid makes great sauces, gravy, or broth for other recipes. Making hard boiled eggs was easy and they turned out great.

This Pot is simply excellent. Easy to use, easy to clean, makes great meals. I could not have asked for it to be any better. This Brand is the Touchstone by which all others should be measured. It takes its place beside the Air Fryer (I bought it before InstaPot made a combination) on my counter.

I tried a different brand of this appliance and really appreciate the convenience electric programmable pressure cookers offer. I love many things about this pressure cooker over the other brand. For one, the stainless steel inner pot, which contains no aluminum or harmful teflon coating and cleans easily. Best of all, the inner pot is actually replaceable should it become damaged somehow. The Sous Vide feature is one I am not familiar with but will certainly have fun learning how to use it.
