My rice cooker of a few years finally crapped out on me. Low and behold this thing makes perfect rice in about 20 minutes (12 minute cook 8 min natural pressure release) I've also made my fair share of stews, ribs, bbq pulled pork. All was delicious and flavorful. I bought it on sale and you should too!

Defective

However, this purchase was a gift for a family member. After setting up the unit and running the initial water test, it will no longer power up. No lights, no power, nothing. All safety procedures were followed, grounded outlet, and not near any water source, etc. Returning to Best Buy to trade it out.
