I bought my 6 qt.Instant Pot Viva a month ago and have not regretted the purchase. I had read online reviews prior to the purchase; viewed basic “ how-to” videos and watched several demos of recipes to prep myself to use the Instant Pot Viva. Two recipes later— braised pork cutlets with apples and onions in a wine/broth sauce and a corn bread with cheddar cheese-I am convinced that I made a wise decision. Covid quarantining has made me weary of my own cooking, so this new Instant Pot addition should improve my inventory of recipes. If you still harbor fears of the old pressure cookers with the jiggle release valves, please let them go. Follow the instructions to the Instant Pot and you should find it easy and safe to use. Best Buy advertised that this model came with a measuring cup and spoon, but none were in the box. It does come with a trivet for easier lifting of items and an extra sealing ring.

Bought this at around St. Patrick's day to use for making corned beef and cabbage. Worked extremely well! Browned the beef, added stock and the veggies, closed lid and wham, 30 mins later you get the tender and flavorful corned beef and cabbage! Cleaning was straight forward, just keep track of all the small rubber pieces that you need to dis-assemble and then assemble back to gather when dried. Made of stainless steel that was surprisingly non-stick. Will try making baked goods and yogurt next. Would highly recommend. Luckily this was on sale at around the time everyone was being asked to quarantine themselves.

Gave this to my mom for Christmas and she loved it! It has a Sous Vide setting which she always wanted to try but didn’t want to buy a separate appliance for. She loves the stainless steel pot and how easily the lid removes. The price was great and fast pick up. 10/10

Got this little kitchen helper for an excellent price. I hate cooking, but as a first time user the initial results were amazing. Even my picky eater was asking for seconds. Super easy recipes from the app which can adjust to the number of servings.

It's a little tricky in the beginning. I read and reread the instructions and recipes just to get it right. It got much easier with practice. It's a multi-cooker all in one. It replaces at least 3 or my kitchen's small appliances. I just love it.

I love, love, love this product! It makes my life as a working mom much easier, while allowing me to prepare healthy meals for my family. I love that I can saute and pressure cook in the same machine. Less of a mess, and food tastes terrific.

I am so happy I made this investment. The instant pot is easy to use. The Viva is so versatile, so many options to choose from. This was my first pressure cooker and I have had zero issues. Every recipe I have tried has turned out perfectly.

I am a single guy and love this. Full dinners in less than 30 minutes. With just one pot to clean up, win win for everyone. Takes the place of my crock pot, rice maker and steamer. Not too big to leave on the counter and use frequently.

We LOVE our pressure cooker. This thing is super easy to use, and cooks meals to perfection. Honestly not sure what we did before owning it.

We had been wanting to purchase one of these but wasn't sure how well or what kind of recipes we would use it for BUT since buying it we have used it probably 4 times out of the week! It is easy to use, clean & cooks great

Love the ease of use, but... Make sure you follow a number of the InstantPot site recipes before going it on your own. Not the same as a slow cook crock pot. Evey meal I duplicated from their website came out great. I will be using this a lot during the Wuhan Virus. Makes feed the family very easy. CON; The lid holder is very flimsy. I suspect that it will break if "abused". I set the lid on the counter.

My guy loves to cook. I got this for him. He loves it. He’s used it several times already. It’s easy & works exactly as it should. He is having fun with it & I’m reaping the benefits of the yummy food he’s making in it.

Love this insta pot! Easy to use, comes with a nice little recipe book (and you can find them on line of course). Very well built, solid cooker. Multifunction.

This thing is great! We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of meals it was able to make! We’ve had the best corned beef, so tender with this thing. I would recommend this to all my friends! Easy to clean!

I wouldn’t say this provides an instant meal alternative to traditional cooking but with an instant pot recipe book it has been fun to use with my girlfriend and we’ve produced two delicious meals with it.

This is a must have for any kitchen. Whether you cook or you don’t, you have to have this instant pot! It’s quick, it’s easy and everything comes out perfect! I can’t live without my instant pot!

Bought this one out on a limb, glad i got it when i did, got a heck of a deal on it plus it's amazing. Use it to cook beans, cook soups, pastas, etc... Recommend to all my friends and family.

Use it for soups and general pressure pot things .. Is easier to clean than some of the other pressure pots out there I have tried. love the stainless steel inside pot.

I owned an 8qt IP and loved it, however, it's kinda big for me, so when BB offered this 6qt on Deals of the day, I couldn't wait. All functions are the same as my 8qt, except this one has a Sous-vide function (it's different technique of steam or boil food). I mainly use this one for pot roast, spaghetti sauce and chicken soup. All came out nicely and tasted delicious. It saved me lots of time compared to the traditional stove cooking. Easy to use, just follow its cookbook for recipes (included in box). All preset settings are almost perfect in terms of temperature and time, you just need to experiment it and adjust to your liking.

Good quality, easy to use, very versatile, I use it to cook rice, porridge, soup, stew, yogurt, etc. Con: The inner pot is stainless steel, cooked rice sticks to the pot, hard to wash.
