    i built a pc for me mom and this is the cpu i got for her.. paired with evga rtx 3060 her editing and rendering time went down.. she wont be waiting for long rendering times now..

    Overall a great midrange CPU. I would recommend a better cooler if you push this thing hard, as it throttles back to about 2.5ish ghz when stressed. That adds to cost a little... otherwise I like it a lot.

    Loving this cpu! For the price to performance, I'm very satisfied. While im waiting for my gpu Ive been using just this and for my semi-older games its been just fine for now. When I get my 3060ti, ill be in business.

    Excellent efficiency balanced with modern performance for a media center PC pushing 1080p content throughout home. The included cooler works in a pinch but I find it loud.

    Great CPU for beginner PC builders, comes with a cpu fan Cooler but I'm not sure how good that is because I used a different one. But besides that try good value cpu.

    Intel builds are expensive compared to their AMD counterparts. This i5 is a good middle road CPU for Intel if you don't plan to overclock the CPU. Has PCIe 4.0 support for LGA 1200. Runs relatively low wattage and you can save money using the stock cooler unless you have a PC case that doesn't have good airflow.

    I replaced a 9 year old home theater PC with one I built using the i5-11400 on an ASRock motherboard. Operating temperatures are low, although I upgraded to a Noctua NH-L9i cooler. This CPU is probably overkill for a HTPC, but we appreciate the instant bootup and rapid loading of video. We are using the onboard video fed via HDMI to a 55" Hitachi plasma screen with good results.
