    When my grandson told me that this was one of the products he needed for the PC he is building, I gladly bought it for him. He's 14 and a great boy.     Really no reason to go i7 or i9 if you are only gaming. This CPU packs enough performance for gaming. The only issue is that you need a good cooler. This puppy runs hot! Even with the CORSAIR - iCUE H150i ELITE CAPELLIX CPU Cooler, it runs hotter than I'd like.

    This processor is very fast. Used its integrated graphics for a couple of months to play games, and it runs them smoothly

    Had a 5900x but alot of cooling issues. Yes it gave very high gaming performance. However i switched to this and its the same performance, and yet stays very cool. Not sure why people say that this cpu runs hot. Load does not boost watts like a ryzen so im already happy as it is.
