Best bang for buck cpu on the market. 14 cores and single core oc at 5.8ghz with ddr5 ram 7200mhz xmp 1 with no issues. Temps are running cool compared to the i9. Perfect cpu for gaming. Built 3 pc's for friends with this cpu and they are all amazed at how fast this i5 performs for there gaming needs. Will recommend to any one wanting to build a new gaming pc.

I built my first PC a little over a year ago and used this cpu. I do light photo editing in lightroom, as well as some gaming and streaming. I wanted a cpu that could handle everything, and this was definitely a good choice. I haven't had any issue with overheating, amd haven't stressed the cpu at all with what I do.

Highly recommend this brand new processor for the price. Was looking at this or the new Ryzen 5 7600x. At the time both were $300 and this blows the Ryzen out of the water. At the time of this review the Ryzen is now $250 and the Intel i5 13600k is still $300. Highly recommend this Intel processor but both are good choices. Nice upgrade from my old Intel core i3. I’m running this for gaming at 1440p with a 3060 and get great fps and low temps.

so this cpu is above average and worth your money if it fits into your budget because it meets a happy middle in terms of performance and price. ive been playing very large games and creating massive amount of core usage but this thing had been working nonstop with no issues. i will say its cool now that its just contacts and not pins

Processor is absolutely phenomenal. Great bang for your buck. Efficiency is at a premium and performance is amazing. Would definitely recommend for a person looking for a processor to begin with!

I think it’s the best value for gaming and productivity use. You really don’t need anything more. I got it on release week and haven’t looked back once

Excellent processor for the price and performance. Built my first pc with this card and everything went smoothly. My last pc was cpu bound. I don't see this cpu having that problem anytime soon.

It’s great for gaming and programming. I just made a build with this CPU and it works great for multitasking doesn’t run hot.

Absolutely a beast of a cpu for gaming. Love this thing. Very easy to install and set up. For the money, you can’t get any better.

Upgraded from X99 6c12t and the generational improvement is massive. I was hesitant because I always have had i7’s, however, unless you are content editing/creating regularly, and need the time savings, this particular i5 is golden for the price. This is a situation where Intel’s competition has been a huge benefit for consumers. This processor also supports both DDR4 & DDR5 motherboards so if you’re already using DDR4, you don’t need to toss it in the boxes of parts you may already have.

Amazing value especially if you got it for money off. Very nice scores in R23 24000 stock all core. My 9700k was 9000 points for comparison.

Pairs great with my 4080, no dips in FPS. The 13th gen i5 is better than the 12th gen i7. If you plan to get a 4090 then you might want to move up to the i7 or i9 but if your GPU is a 4080 or lower then this is more than enough. No bottleneck.

Replaced an i5-12400 with this cpu and a z690 motherboard. What a change, improvements across the board. 12400 is a good cpu, this 13600k is on another level. Very happy with new set up.

Finally went with better cpu instead of lowest price I could find, bought on sale just over $300. Upgraded motherboard and case. Using 3060 now but going to upgrade to 6950XT. Amazing cpu, scored over 20,000 on cinebench with 3060. Mainly play racing games, works great.

Very nice cpu. 100 more fps on my cpu heavy games. Be sure to buy a good cooler for it it runs hot! Look up how to turn down lite load on your motherboard and it will be much cooler.

Choose right, this 13th gen i5 is better than a 12th gen i7, no need to upgrade your motherboard. Just make sure your bios is up to date.

You don’t need to but anything better at the moment. I have a 4090 and an extra $300 on the i9 to only get about 8 extra frames is not worth it

This has been a great CPU, I run multiple web pages at the same time and haven’t had any issues.
