As far as price to performance on this model, and from the 2 months of having owned it, this CPU is great for anyone looking to make a modern build for 1440p gaming extensively, and 4k gaming on a budget. 1440p 144hz is a breeze, and I am seeing caps around 350-440 frames in valorant with a 6700 non-XT GPU. Certified good in low end 1440p gaming like valorant and siege on my GPU, and works decently well for AAA titles, seeing 60-90hz on most titles in the same CPU/GPU build.

Bought this CPU almost 2 years ago and it's still going strong. Super quick w/ MUCH improved performance over my AMD 3800x. It does run pretty hot however, which is expected since this 6 core is JUICED. Highly recommend.

Great value. Fast, doesnt run very warm with 360mm aio.

Want speed? Want Value? Want the best Bang for the Buck for gaming? Also, best if you UNDERVOLT it FYI

Great chip at a great price! This handled every game I could through at it - my rig was this CPU (i5), 32 gig RAM, RTX 4070ti, 144hz screen with a mid-range Tomahawk motherboard. Runs BG3 perfect, and doesnt even lag out in the busiest streets of Hogwarts.

Not much to say about processors other than speed. I dont overclock so its run as a stock processor. According to benchmarks the i5-13600 is the same speed as the i9-12900 but at a kowet price and power. It runs cool (with a liquid cooler fan) and plays games much better thn the i9-10900 i was running before. Highly recommended!

Awesome CPU for the money very good for multitasking performance and high-performance gaming

Had an i5-6600k paired with a gtx 1070 that could barely handle 1440p at low settings. Once I added a vertical 1440p monitor, couldn’t run most games. Much needed upgrade and on the cheaper end after grabbing a ddr4 lga 1700 board. If you are gonna grab this, make sure your board has bios flashback. Only way to update the bios to work with 13th gen intel is through the flashback, otherwise it will NOT work. Bought a b660 that didnt have flashback and had to return to get a z690 with it.

This thing is a beast I don't even know why you would want an i7 when this thing just absolutely destroys anything you throw at it it's really hot under load though so you need a very good cooler I can hit a hundred degrees with a dh15

Unbelievable performance from an I5. For the past few generations I have had the I7 level CPUs. Not any more. This cpu scores higher than anything I have ever had. Stable with a pretty decent overclock and seems like it could go higher if I tweak the voltage offset better.

Great performance, heat power usage on a budget. if you are gaming at less than 4K don’t spend more. I also render video and this thing refused my times from hours to minutes. Kept budget down for whole pc.

Amazing cpu. Likely the best i5 ever created, and in some instances better benchmarks than the i7 (13700), and about $100 less. No regrets with this for my pc build!

[Employee of bestbuy] Amazing processor for the price. Intel has provided a processor that competes and at many times, beats its last generation i7. This is a decent feat for an i5 processor and it lies at an amazing price for a midrange build.

A budget friendly way to upgrade your CPU to the new 13th gen processors. It's faster then my previous I7 12700. Works great with my EVGA RTX 3090. I run CyberPunk 2077 at 63 fps without DLSS and no overclock consistently.

Who needs i7 or i9. This thing is a beast all you will need for gaming and productivity. Does get hot but not as hot as i7 or i9

Will run HOT in synthetic benchmarks but a good undervolt will bring you down to reasonable levels if you have a decent cooler. Runs great in games and is a really great value for how much performance you get.

Upgrading from an i7-8700 and this cpu is amazing. Runs a little bit hot out of the box (like all 13th gen) but with a decent cooler and some fiddling you can really take advantage of this beast.
This CPU is a very good value for its performance. Purchased for my parents computer, runs at advertised speeds, stays cool on stock cooler and has never throttled.

I recently invested in a new processor, and it has exceeded my expectations. The performance boost is palpable across various applications and tasks. Whether it’s demanding software or intense gaming sessions, this processor handles everything effortlessly. The multi-core efficiency is commendable, ensuring smooth multitasking without compromising speed. The energy efficiency is a welcome feature, contributing to a cooler overall system. In summary, this processor stands out as a powerhouse solution for users aiming to elevate their computing experience to new heights.

All speeds and settings setup just right, don't have the cooling for OC as temps run high on this. However, significant improvement to everything I bought it for which is what I was looking for.
