Good chip.

But if money is a consideration. Or your power bill. Or how much you need to spend on cooling.

Integrated graphics work well. Does run hotter than the 9th gen and some 10th gen processors. Recommend getting a good clc or air cooler.

The Intel Extreme Tuning Utility has so many overclock and settings it's way over my head. But I am very happy with the purchase and would highly reccomend.

Upgraded from a 4790k. Was waiting for awhile to really feel the improvement as i only game on it. I notice an inprovement but its not that drastic as i had the 4790k OC to about 4.8ghz. I noticed inatalling games and other tasks are faster though but was expecting lightning fast speeds. Purchased on sale for $380 which was the lowest i have seen it so far.

Wanted to unlock PCI 4.0

This was on a great sale and I figured the gains between PCI 4.0 and the chip itself would be worth it without having to do major system upgrades. The 11th Gen i9 equivalent seemed like overkill, so I went with this as it was the most recommended. Differences have been significant.
