    Got this to upgrade from the 10700f do to bottle necking to my gpu. Now there is none. Plus with best buys price match made it even better.

    It’s good for gaming! I wish I had the mother board to overclock it but I don’t unfortunately

    Upgrade my computer to this i7 and my computer works so much faster. Games run 200fps faster now .This is a good cpu.

    love this 11700k! this thing with even a minor overclock beats the i9 11900. very good for gaming and super framerates with the right gpu! I cool mine with a cooler master 512 , just air and it does great. all you will need for gaming even though there are newer better cpus.

    This went into a new build I was doing to replace another pre-built PC with an i7. It's obvious that this i7, which was recommended to me on a site that was comparing whether it was worth forking over extra for i9 vs. i7 vs. i5, is a leap forward in efficiency of processing. For the record, my workflow involves a lot of high quality audio/video creation and processing, including 1080p/60 live streams to multiple sources. The software I use can either leverage software, tap into the onboard graphics, or use the nVidia card, but the old PC had a less-than-optimal 760 that wasn't going to cut it. This new PC has an RTX 2080, so NVENC should be doable now, but I also wanted to be able to offload to onboard interchangeably whenever it made sense. For this I needed the CPU to be able to thread more efficiently than the previous, and in this it serves very well.
