Let me first start off by saying what a powerful processor the Intel i7-13700K is! This is a big upgrade from the previous generation and a MASSIVE upgrade to the even older generations of Intel processors. The main thing for me is that it pairs perfectly with the latest 40xx series GPUs. It is also an incredibly powerful CPU for multitasking. Besides 4K gaming, I do a lot of photo and video editing. This CPU helps run multiple heavy Adobe programs such as Photoshop, Premier, and Lightroom all at once without skipping a beat. I did have some concerns about this new generation i7 running too hot, but with it being paired with my Corsair CPU cooler, it never overheats even within the most demanding tasks I've thrown at it. I've been able to maintain this CPU under 90 degrees Fahrenheit at all times. Overall, this is a MONSTER of a CPU, especially for the price. Even with heavy 4K gaming and complex photo/video editing, the Intel i7-13700k handles everything I could possibly throw at it.

Intel's performance and efficiency cores are really what divides the Red vs Blue debate with this CPU. I have personally switched to team Red (AMD) not because I don't like Intel but I just wanted a little more performance out of my system. Paired with my once 3090 and now my 5080 every AAA game was over 200 FPS @ 1440p no problem and could multitask with ease with 4 monitors with a web browser, Discord, Spotify, OBS, and others. Never a hitch and is just use in my girlfriends PC now and is a 1080p demon.

Very good cpu. Fast and doesnt even require any overclocking. Good price, and easy to install. Does not come woth a fan, would reccomend water cooling.

This CPU is a real powerhouse. It is no secret that the higher end 13th gen Intel processors run hot and require high performing coolers to run at their best. The i7 13700K is no exception, but an air cooler can still be used for adequate cooling, which is more than can be said about the i9 13900K. This CPU is excellent at gaming but is also highly capable of content creation and video editing. It is the sweet spot in the high end Intel CPUs. I am greatly pleased at the performance of this processor and highly recommend it to those building a high end system without breaking the bank.

almost as fast as an i9 processor, but with a good discount. processor is also easier to cool than an I-9, which really needs liquid cooling to run effectively. if you don’t want to do the liquid cooling, this is about as fast as you can go with the appropriate air cool heat sink. however, Invest in the best air cool air sink you can. otherwise the fan will end up running on high most of the time, Really heavy users may need to use an AIO liguid cooling with this processor to keep fan noise down. If you’re installing on a 12th GEN CPU motherboard, you should update the bios first for the 13th GEN processor.

Super solid CPU so far. It has crushed all the games I've thrown at it including ARMA 3, Squad, Overwatch, Valorant, Warzone, etc. Highly recommend but if you do pick this up, be aware that this CPU will run VERY HOT. Regardless of what cooler you use, the CPU will run to it's thermal limit of somewhere around 90 degrees C when under constant load like gaming for extended periods of time. Another thing to note, most motherboards right now won't be out of the box compatible with this cpu and will require you to flash the Bios in order to boot your pc. Other than that, this is one of the greatest cpus I've bought in the last 7 years.

Awsome chip. Put this in my son's recent build. Makes a great gaming machine without breaking the bank.

I wanted to update my i9 9900 k that was still a great cpu the 14k gen wasn't really looking like a great fit price to function and this cpu was way better then i thouhht pair it with a asus prime 790 board and some corsair ddr 5 6000 mhz ram my cpu score over 10k on intel extreme tuner stock this 16 core 32 thread is just a great buy

Built my pc using this cpu and it has been great since the purchase which was 2 years ago.

Intel is definitely back up to par as amd, i got this on sale for under 400 before tax , glad i did this is the best bang of the buck cpu for gaming , content creation and productivity. I have a mix work load so this definitely serve me well for the next few years

Fantastic gaming/streaming chip, okay thermals. This chip benefits hugely from a decent undervolt, if you're able to on your motherboard and Intel ME version. Applying a -0.150 mv offset dropped my package load temps from 78° to 68° while remaining stable at 5.5Ghz using an NHD15s. I do plan to add a second fan to my cooler as temps at idle are a bit higher than I'd prefer.

I loged how fast this cpu is and its more affordable than the 13900k and has the same p core count as the 13900k just less e cores and all i do is play video games so the 13700k is the perfect match for a modern cpu nowdays. Unless you mutitask heavy software like video editing you wont see a difference between 13700k and 13900k in mutitasking for day to day use. And hey tge 13700k is more affordable too!

Excellent CPU and was on sale for a good price! Built a new gaming PC with it and is an amazing CPU! I paired this with an RTX 4080 and it runs any game I play at 1440p EASILY without breaking a sweat! For those looking for a high end CPU, I recommend this!

I've had this CPU for a while and never had any issues, it performs pretty well while gaming, keeps up with my 4070ti and i believe the price was the best compared with the performance, be mindfull, some motherboards require bios updates in order to be compatible, if so make sure you grab one with a easy flashing method to update it

Very vast cpu, then again seems like tbey all are pretty quick now days. Im upgrading from i5-12600k . Noticed a 60 to 70 percent in fps compared to my i5 which i think waa getting little tied down from my 4080 which now pairs very nicely with my new I7. I have a 360mm radiator with it and it definitely helps it keep that substained 5.4ghz clock out of the box.

Have it equipped to a MSI z690 ek x carbon motherboard with 16gb DDR5 ram. Was able to OC past 5.7ghz with no issues with cooling or power consumption. Seems to be a workhorse, and well worth it for it's value. Overall, I'd recommend it if you're revamping your PC and want something Intel based but doesn't break the bank.

well its not the fastest and its not the slowest . but it definitely is a great gaming cpu no issues out of the box. pair it with a good motherboard and ram and you can bet its gonna give you what you want out if .just remember to add a good cpu cooler to it .because this thing gets hot when you want to push it.

This CPU has been nothing but awesome in the time that I’ve had it. It does run slightly warm in cpu intensive tasks but a good aio, air cooler, or under-volting can make it more manageable. Under gaming loads it never gets over 75C over several hours.
