Customers praise the Core i7-14700K for its fast and reliable processor speed and overall performance, although some find the performance increase minimal. The installation process is also considered simple and easy. However, some customers recommend a robust cooling solution to manage the processor's heat output.

Bumped up from 12700 to this. Couldn’t tell a difference, but that’s expected because both are fast. The annoyance of the voltage issues I had to worry about was not ideal and Intel has since fixed it. This generation is just as good, if not better than their current gen Core lineup. If you can save some money with this gen you should consider it.

3 times as fast as my previous i7. The bugs that were plaguing these chips have been completely fixed by the time I purchased mine, so I never had to deal with any of that. This is a super-fast chip.

This is a great cpu for gaming and has great performance. On the downside though, It does run hot so making sure you have good airflow and cpu cooler is essential.

Blazing fast for gaming. Many have recommended an under volt but as always don't forget to us the latest Bios for best results. I have this in a new build getting 30 FPS over I712700k. Loving it so far.

Tends to run hot without OC. Previously I was using MSI CoreLiquid 240R and was thermal throttling. Upgraded to a Arctic Liqquid Freezer III Pro and get up to 70 deg C under heavy load.

I bought this CPU to upgrade it from a i5-12600k because it was bottlenecking my GPU (4070ti super) and now im getying an extra 20-30 fps on average and even more in other games like Valorant 300+ fps! Not to mention how relatively cool it stays under performance as well, staying at a comfortable 50-60°C on 1440p resolution! I love it and the great thing is that this chip is good for the foreseeable future. Would definitely recommend to a friend!

Great CPU. Upgraded from i9 11900kf to the i7 14700k. After hours of OCD research I was going to go with the i7 13700k but it was only $40 more at the time to get this.
It does run a little warm. You’ll find a lot of forums if you search. I knew going into the purchase this was the case. I’m cooling it with the Corsair h150i Elite LCD AIO I brought over to this build and it’s fine. Runs great
