    overclocks well and is a good fit for those who have a preexisting lga1700 platform. however wouldnt recommend for new platform buyers or ppl who strictly want to game.

    After using an Ryzen 9 5900x for the past 5 years I decided to switch to Intel and I am so glad I did. It just seems like a much better experience. I feel that the 5900x was quirky and clunky when doing things and with the 14700k it's smooth and more responsive. I would recommend going to Intel if you are on AMD.

    Works as expected. Just make sure that you use a good enough cooler because this thing gets really hot.

    great processor to upgrade to. I had a pretty old I5 before, and the difference is quite substantial. although this is the 2nd one I received because the 1st was defective. I would just be careful with the processor and make sure it works.

    Excellent CPU, upgraded from an i7-10700k and it is blistering fast. From just the CPU I am seeing 30+ frames over my previous in some games. Highly recommended. Temperatures stay pretty cool with my H100i Elite, too!
