The reason I went with the 14700k is because it torques your PC. The i9 runs so hot that I went with a more managable i7. I have no complaints. Easily overclocks. I recommend a dual chamber noctua air cooler or a very highend AIO cooler.

I bought an i9-13900k yesterday & it was D.O.A., really wasn't happy at all, but I was able to return it today for a full refund, and so I bought this i7-14700k instead. Works flawlessly. TBH, a lot of the i9-13900k's are shipped non-working, get the 14700k instead; not much difference in performance, plus it's cheaper, especially with price matching with Microcenter.

Great processor! The Intel i7 runs games like Warzone and Arc Raiders really smoothly, and it handles multitasking with no problem. Super fast and reliable—definitely worth it

Absolutely shreds everything that my computer could ever need, gaming editing live-streaming all of it this cpu can take it

I purchased the i7 for an upgrade to my PC gaming setup. Easy to install on a new mobo and great performance. A big step up from my i5.

Really good upgrade from and i7 9700k, need a real good cooler unless you want to under volt the cpu to control temps

With intel/asus bios improvements I’ve been pleasantly surprised with how good this has been. I had to undervolt it a bit to keep the temps down but they weren’t unreasonable to begin with, I was just used to the 55-60 amd x3d temps.

A great piece of machinery, works great, came in a day early and they installed it for me!

I hate we made things like lightning fast and thunderbolt marketing because the fact of matter is we just keep getting faster! This is the fastest I have ever multi tasked and played games this thing boots up in 2.5 secs ok its ridiculous what's next instant!!

Everything is in good and working order. Nothing was damaged even though the box came all dented. The stock is good, maybe the shipping or storage practices leave something to be desired. Built my computer and everything clicked on like a charm.

Lovely i7 will be a while until I upgrade performance is great!

Runs hot but great cpu. Not the top of the line but it works for my needs

I’ve heard mixed things about the whether the failures with these chips have been resolved or not. I undervolted to 220w for peace of mind and haven’t had any issues. Temps have been perfectly fine, though I do have an AIO cooler. It’s met the average benchmarks posted by others online. Plus, Intel is generous with the RMA process for these, given the failures situation and all

powerful for gaming and multitasking. does get a bit warm so get a good cooler if you plan on overclocking. I got 5.7Ghz across all cores but really don't need it at stock settings its still very strong.

Upgraded from an i7-12700k and the positive increase is very noticeable. Stable and pairs wjth my 3080 12g very well, pushing high frame rate yo my oled. Crazy speeds calable wirh over clocking as well.
