Recently had my (after much exhaustive testing of all my components) Z390 motherboard fail on WoW launch day and with shortages everywhere of key components, I spent the entire week of launch not playing while I scrambled to get my system up and running. Glad to see these show up at MSRP at the moment of my frantic search for parts. I'm never an early adopter at inflated prices. Installed in a Asus ROG Strix. AI tuned to a reported 43-45% "Extreme Overclock" and running 5.3+ on all cores right out of the box with a high SP rating so I'm good to go. Over a week later, finally back into WoW (where everybody has already hit 60 yay me lol....)

Just fantastic! Fastest gaming cpu I have had, 0 issues, handles everything. Ya, if you want more cores or to do work related stuff:video editing/encoding blah blah blah, go for the AMD as it’s a little faster. I do mostly gaming a some work and this cpu fits the bill perfectly, yay intel!

Finally got my pc built. Coming from a super old Intel i7860 @ 2.8 GHz this thing is light years ago. One of the best CPU out there as of Sep/2020. Can't wait to pair this up with a RTX 3080.

Was deciding between 10th gen and 12th gen. Went with this one to keep costs down but not disappointed with its production one bit. Will go all out next time but can manage quite will with this one for the next 4 to 5 years.

I paired this with a Strix RTX 3080 on the Strix Z490-E motherboard and it's working amazing. Only knocking it slightly on value as you could (theoretically) buy the better performing AMD 5900X for only a little more.

A fair upgrade from Intel 9th gen, good processor choice for gaming. Too bad it doesn’t support PCIe 4.0. Now I’m waiting for the upcoming 11th gen.

Bought this processor for a new build. Works Great. Used for gaming mostly and have it running at 5 Ghz, needs a bit of power and cooling though.

Now that the price of the 10th Gen i9 is down, due to the release of the 11th Gen in late March 2021, this is a good value to performance. The new Rocket Lake CPU are 8 core and a couple hundred dollars more. So value to performance, this is a beast.

This is an outstanding processor. I am using this in a ASUS - MAXIMUS XII HERO (WI-FI) Socket 1200 USB 3.2 Intel Motherboard. This is a great combination for my purpose - high-end graphics / processing. Not doing any over-clocking now - maybe later.

Gamers beware. If you want the best intel chip for gaming look no more! I had a i7 10th gen but couldn’t keep it knowing this chip by far exceeds expectations. I haven’t benchmarked it yet but from user reviews it looks like it shines and holds up to its name!

Well, my son really likes it but he's too young to know why it's awesome. My only problem with it is that it's not 11th gen, so after we mounted it in a new build, then we found out that PCIe 4.0 only works with 11th gen. Oops.

Definitely worth the money to have a very fast operating system for a custom built computer. When used with internal SSD drives, large programs load quickly and perform flawlessly.

I upgraded from an i3 quad core 2.4 and let me say this chip has completely blown me away. The processing power pushed out by this little guy is phenomenal, excellent for gaming and just general use. Highly recommend 10/10.
