  • A Beastly CPU for a Monster PC

    I purchased this thinking I was getting the K, not the KF but oh well, just as happy with it. The difference is the video capabilities the K version has which does have a slight advantage over this CPU, but for the difference, this CPU is still a solid choice. Rendering video is typically a CPU chore in video software. Premiere Pro does take advantage of the CUDA Cores in a Nvidia GPU as well to help it along. I built my rig with content creation in mind, more than gaming (though never hurts to blast away in a FPS once in a while). This CPU runs great under water cooling. I overclocked all 24 cores to 5.4 Ghz daily running and sit around 40c unless I am tasking it, which it will hit high 80s then. A very good and powerful CPU for sure. It took me a decade to upgrade Frank N Stein PC and Frank approves!

    Great chip, new architecture and early DDr5 great setup runs a bit hot.

    Nothing but good things to say about the top of the line processor on the market at this point. Just make sure you have adequate cooling because they got hot quickly

    Took some time to get this in stock but i'm glad i own it now. it runs really hot but i have a custom loop to keep it at 60c overclocked gaming.
