Great CPU and couldn’t ask for better customer service

best gaming cpu. it does run hot so I would not recommend overclocking but it is a beast when paired with a high end gpu for 4k gaming.

Great chip but runs hot, recommend a 360mm AIO or go water build. If you want best bang for the buck undervolt your chip.

Excellent processor to play and perform tasks, I have been using it for approximately 1 month, I do not regret the investment.

I ended up with a bad batch, so I cannot give an unbiased score. This processor has completely uprooted my workflows and gaming access. Some programs cause it to blue-screen, some just shut down the computer. It doesnt matter how much I've fiddled with BIOS settings. Intel was also useless when it came to try and exchange it for a new one, as I couldn't submit any tickets (because the processor corrupted the serial number). If I manage to get my hands on an unbugged processor I'll consider changing my review.

This processor is rock solid. Came from a 12700k and noticed a most consistent performance increase in games.

Get this when the price drops a good bit.prices continue to fluctuate.

Made a whole lot of difference for my computing needs!

I didnt really need to upgrade, but i wanted at least pcie 4.0 - just because. I already jave an X299X system with 12 real cores, so I did not NEED to upgrade, provided that this was an upgrade. I tried 2 cpus, 2 different motherboards - and this thing would not boot up, and only one motherboard even powered on! I tried everything and I was about to try another MB, when I just got fed up and gave up. If. I went through 2 of these cpus and 3 MB's, would another make a difference? Why should I have to keep doing this? It never worked. I give it a 1 since this is the first ever architecture thay never worked for me and i have been building since the late 90's. The good part is, i put my old system back together - I guess when better contact - and it works even better than before, so i now get that extra boost i wanted. Now i dont miss not havimg this 13900k work.

So far my computer has run kind of worse, seen alot of people on reddit saying they have had RMA theirs a couple time before getting a new one

Snappy. Powerful. Overkill for most anything you can throw at it. You probably dont need this much power, but if you want to know your king of the hill and future proofed for a very, very long tine - here you go. This is your CPU. Pair it with a nice 280mm or 360mm AIO cooler. Also, dont forget the LGA 1700 bracket (can be found for cheap, less than $20).

This thing burned up on me before a years time and was making my pc black screen.

Absolutely HORRIBLE SERVICE. They sent me a defective i9-13900k and now only have a 15 day return period. They make you pay to have an extended return period. Do yourself a favor and NEVER buy from bestbuy EVER. Literally the most garbage company ever. You're much better off buying from Amazon who actually takes care of their customers. I will NEVER EVER buy from bestbuy again PERIOD.

Very dissatisfied with this product. Countless BSOD error codes, resets, BIOS updates, drivers updates, and underclocking just keep this cpu stable for barely a website I use for school and music to play in the background. I know the motherboard manufacturers have their clocks higher than the CPU manufacturers recommendations, but the most recent update has made my computer unusable. Get an AMD processor. Period.

Please test this in your build as soon as you are able. I ordered this online and picked up in-store in October 2023. Once I actually started my build, I found my processor did not work and I was unable to return it because it was outside the return period. After sending it to Intel, Intel found that the processor was fake. Now Best Buy is unwilling to help me and I am still trying to find a solution months later.

Funny... It was new factory sealed, no signs of previous use. But unfortunately the CPU Was DOA and will be returning for a refund. Sadly things do happen. Will try a 14900k in the future.
